During the period of 12th Five-Years Program， as the global and science progress， Chinese knitting industry relying on innovation and transformation has developed stably. Income of main business， total profit， fixed asset investment， construction project， newly commenced project and completed project keep high speed growth year on year， higher than other textile industry. “It is worth mentioning that in this period the concentration of China knitting industry has been greatly promoted and clusters and brands were obviously improved. Enterprises above designated size with rate of profit of 5.52% is much higher than industrial average rate. A large of leader enterprises emerged such as Ningbo Shenzhou， Qingdao Jifa， Jiangsu Dongdu etc.” said Lin Guangxing， Vice President of CKIA （China Knitting Industry Association）， Industrial clusters seem to show spreading effect and aggregation effect in 12th Five-Year Program period， 40 industrial clusters with value of export account for 50% of total industry export. A half of industrial clusters enjoyed on sale of 10 billion， several of them beyond 100 billion.

Based on that， some leading demonstration bases like Haining， in Zhejiang province， Changshu， in Jiangsu province which are the transformation bases for national international trade and Brand demonstrations like Yanbu and Zhangcuo in Guangdong province which were awarded by MIIT（Ministry of Industry and Information Tech- nology）， batch of brands of lingerie， T-shirt， flat knitting products， socks industry etc amount for domestic market， and abroad. Meanwhile based on these industrial clusters， our industry has chased on the opportunity and change from domestic and international requirement， with remarkable points.

Since 2013， total export value of knitting industry has been reached 109.698 billion of US dollars， the second year of breaking 100 billion， which is a third of the national textile and apparel exports， 12% of total volume of global textile and apparel trade. Lin released that despite of 5.85% increase of knitting apparel， the prices of export is up to 30.18% and comprehensive in international market. Some remarkable in domestic market， as the constant improvement of self dependent innovation， the amount of knitting equipment has fallen substantially than the period of 11th FiveYear Program Plans， less than a half of amount of equipment import. “Made in China” with market activation were applied of more new materials and innovative technology， new equipment to develop knitted fabrics， the technology and equipment appear the trends that are high precision， high efficiency， intelligent control system， semi-fully fashioned knitwear and even multipurpose.endprint

Lin introduced that “As the improvement of domestic machining and automation， technology and intelligence of knitting machine has been stably improved such as the design and manufacture of warp knitting weft knitting machine and flat knitting， the export price of knitting machine has been rising obviously， even beyond 78%. With applying of innovative technique and new technology， the effect in aspect of energy conservation and environment protection has been outstanding to support sustainable development.product grade to win-win situation

From the historic qualified rate of sampling test， the percentage of unqualified products decreased than the “11th Five-Year Program”， talents as the first resource of development， knitting industry has organized competition and other games for three type of weft workers ， flat knitting workers， warp workers and rotate three years a time， more than 10 thousand participates every time.
