2016 PEACH BLOSSOM FESTlVAL OF NYlNGCHl PREFECTURE lN TlBET

2016年西藏林芝桃花文化節

Time: 15th,Mar.——20th,Apr.

With a theme of “Meeting in Nyingchi in China's most beautiful spring', the Peach Blossom Festival will be celebrated in different towns in accordance with flowering times. With colourful local cultural activities including a Peach Blossom Fairy Competition, horse-riding Contest at Peach-blossom Spring, hot spring tours, and eating cherry blossom food.

本屆林芝桃花文化節依然沿用“相約林芝·尋訪美麗中國最美春天”這一主題。根據花期不同，各縣（區）都將舉行豐富多彩地富有當地特色的開幕式及文化娛樂活動。游客不止能欣賞到美不勝收的桃花美景，更能參加 “桃花仙子”選拔賽、桃花源騎行賽、桃花溫泉之旅、品桃花美食等活動。

第四屆“照亮濱海灣”燈光藝術節

Time: 4th——27th,Mar.

i Light Marina Bay, Asia's leading sustainable light art festival, will be back from March 4 to 27 to illuminate the Bay with the most number of art installations by local educational institutions since the festival's inception. Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the fourth edition of the festival will transform the Marina Bay waterfront into a glittering ensemble of more than 20 light art installations from local and international artists.

3月4日，第四屆“照亮濱海灣”燈光藝術節將正式拉開帷幕。本次燈光節將有20多個出自當地和國際藝術家的燈光藝術作品參展，其中的五個作品由新加坡當地高校設計和制作。屆時濱海灣臨水區域將變成一片燈光的海洋。

1. XlNGHUA RAPE FLOWERS

興化油菜花

In Xinghua, Jiangsu, rapes were planted in the middle of the lake. As the rapes blossom, the lakes develop golden-spotted decorations, tourists can take a boat out to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the lake.

2. LUNlAO PEAR BLOSSOMS

鸕鳥鎮梨花

In late March and early April every year, Pear Flowers blossom in Luniao Town of Zhejiang Province, creating beautiful scenery with a sea of white pear flowers occasionally spotted with pink peach blossoms.

3. LlANZHOU PEACH BLOSSOMS

連州桃花

Lianzhou in Guangdong is a peach planting centre with a total planting area of 7.9 square kilometres. The Lianzhou peach blossom is brightly coloured, densely flowered, and long lasting, making it especially suitable for displaying its flowers.
