India Retail Forum acquired by Reed Exhibitions
Reed Exhibitions is investing further in the Indian market as it has acquired India Retail Forum (IRF), a premier event serving the Indian retail real estate market and its satellite events, The Shopping Centre Forum and the Regional Retail Forums. IRF will continue to be managed under the leadership of Amitabh Taneja as Chief Convener in India. Commenting on the deal, Michael Mandl, CEO for Reed Exhibitions India said: \"This is a very exciting development. The Sustainable Events Summit for a greener future
The Sustainable Events Summit (SES), a gathering of industry-leading corporate event organisers, brands, venues and suppliers, designed to promote the exchange of innovative ideas in sustainability, has initiated a major new research project. The research, backed by global full-service provider for live events GES, is the first of its kind in the sector, and will survey 100 event professionals at top global brands to gain greater insight into how sustainability informs both the planning and delivery of live events. The research was unveiled at the Sustainable Events Summit on November 21 in central London.
