9月13日,UFI宣布,新加坡SingEx Exhibitions展覽公司由于對旗下亞洲物聯網展覽會(IoT Asia)的出色營銷策略而獲得本年度UFI市場營銷大獎。該展會現在已成為展示亞洲最知名的展示物聯網領域最新發展的盛會。

GES通過并購進一步強化全方位會展服務能力
8月12日,總部位于美國的全球會展與活動服務供應商GES宣布收購聲像設計服務商ON有限公司。多年來,ON公司也為多場高端娛樂活動提供與酒店、運動場和會議中心提供聲像服務。通過并購,GES進一步強化了作為全方位會展服務商的業務能力。
GES總裁Steve Moster表示:“我們選擇ON公司作為合作伙伴,是因為他們擁有高端的聲像服務與豐富的技術,此次合作將進一步提升我們的服務水準,使我們能進一步為客戶提供高品質的全方位會展服務。”
沙迦博覽中心2016年上半年業績同期增長65%
9月,沙迦博覽中心財報顯示,2016年上半年舉辦的活動以及接待的觀眾數量顯著攀升。2016年第一季度,博覽中心共舉辦消費類和貿易類會展活動15場(2015年同期為9場),增長率為65%。接待觀眾320,000名,比去年同期增長20%。此外,會展中心赴慕尼黑、柏林、武漢、天津等地參加了多項國際行業活動以擴大影響力。

In September, UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, has named SingEx Exhibitions as winner of its prestigious UFI Marketing Award. This year’s UFI Marketing Award recognises outstanding success stories in the branding of new trade shows. Launching a new brand for an event and establishing it in the market requires a strong marketing strategy, with active cooperation from a wide range of people.
The Singapore-based trade exhibition and conference company was selected for its marketing of IoT Asia, which has grown to become Asia’s top event for latest developments in the Internet of Things.
GES Expands its North American Event Production Capabilities
On August 12, GES, a global full-service provider for live events, announced the acquisition of the business of ON Event Services, LLC, a leading provider of live event audio visual production services that includes audio, video, lighting, mapping and scenic design. In addition, the business produces high-end entertainment events and provides in-house audio visual services to hotels, arenas, and conference centers.
Expo Centre posts excellent first-half growth
Expo Centre Sharjah has reported strong performance in the first half of 2016, registering an impressive rise in the number of events held and increase in visitor turnout. According to H1 2016 figures, Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) hosted 15 consumer and trade exhibitions and conferences as against nine events during the same period last year, an increase of more than 65%, and attracted 320,000 visitors, registering a 20% rise.Expo Centre also took part in several prestigious global events, including the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry’s (UFI) Global CEO Summit in Munich in February,besides engaging with the World Trade Centers of Wuhan and Tianjin in China.
