The Spirit of Lei Feng
People all over China are learning from Lei Feng now. He is a great example to all of us. He was always ready to help other① and never asked for anything.
We should learn from him and try helping② others. I will do my best to help others. First， I will study hard so that I can have more abilities to help others. Second， I will help the poor children， such as giving them books and warm clothes， raising money for charities and so on. And on weekends， I am going to visit the old people. Finally， I will help my parents with housework at home. I hope I can do better in the future and help more people.

1. 優點：
本文小作者巧妙地使用first， second， and和finally將要做的幾件事連接起來，使文章條理清晰。文章最后一句，自然點題，對文章中心起到升華的作用。
2. 需要修改的地方：
① other改為others。此處other表示“其他的人或事”，根據句意應用復數形式；
② helping改為to help。try to do sth.意為“盡全力做某事”，try doing sth.意為“試著做某事”。
3. 評分：
按江蘇省連云港市中考英語作文滿分20分的評分標準，本文修改前可得18分。
