TOURBILLON, MORE APPROACHABLE THAN EVER

As its R&D DSirector Guy Sémon said, TAG Heuer targets young people who appreciatethe avant-garde. And TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 is undoubtedly the best choice for this group of people. It combines the two most popular and complex devices in traditional watch-making industry - it is an automatic chronograph combined with a titanium and carbon fl ying tourbillon.

Made from grade fi ve titanium - lightweight and more shock-resistant - it uses a different form of construction with 12 modular components. This design opens up a huge range of possibilities, with an inf i nite combination of materials, colours, treatments and fi nishes.This assembly is complemented by a black alligator strap sewn onto rubber, ensuring it boasts TAG Heuer's signature ref i ned, yet sporty look. It's also waterproof to 100 metres.

At 4 Hz, and 28,800 vibrations/hour, the main technical challenge was to house a single barrel, the chronograph functions, the automatic winding mechanism and the fl ying tourbillon within a diameter of 32 mm, whilst ensuring the counters were well spaced to create a modern, balanced look.

When asked how TAG Heuer managed to bring out this accessible luxury, Sémon said: “We have good mastery of the industrial processes and manufacturing costs.”

At the end of the interview, Sémongave a Mona Lisa smile and said: “This June, TAG Heuer is going to bring out its new invention, which is def i nitely going to amaze the market again.”

此款腕表制造最大的技術(shù)挑戰(zhàn)是如何在4赫茲和28,800振次/小時(shí)的頻率下，將單發(fā)條盒、多種計(jì)時(shí)功能、自動(dòng)上弦裝置以及浮動(dòng)式陀飛輪全部容納于直徑僅32毫米表殼內(nèi)的同時(shí)保證各個(gè)計(jì)時(shí)盤的合理布局，以賦予腕表時(shí)尚、具有平衡美感的外觀。

卡萊拉Heuer-02T此款機(jī)芯由5級(jí)鈦合金制成，材質(zhì)輕盈，防震性能更強(qiáng)。黑色鱷魚皮表帶內(nèi)襯天然橡膠，防水深度可達(dá)100米。

當(dāng)被問到這個(gè)突破是如何實(shí)現(xiàn)的時(shí)候，研發(fā)總監(jiān)Sémon如是說：“這款手表之所以能脫穎而出，得益于豪雅精湛的制造技藝和對(duì)工業(yè)流程和制造成本的完美把控。”

Last year, TAG Heuer became the fi rst Swiss luxury watch brand ever to bring out a smart watch that runs the Android Wear platform. Connected, known as “a watch connected to the future”, also appeared at the 2016 BaselWorld, attracting no less attention than the fi ve new Heuer watches.
