Fengjie is situated in the “Golden Triangle” region in Yangtze River Three Gorges; with profound historical heritage, rich tourism resources, it is known as "Poetry City". Here are interspersed with a multitude of historical sites, unique geographic landscapes, beautiful river scenery, profound cultural and historical heritage, Baidi Town, Qutang Gorge, the Sky Hole, the geosuture, Hankuimen ...... a scroll of splendid landscape painting is unfolding in front of visitors and the galaxy of scenic spots have formed an arts gallery. In 2015, Fengjie tourism has stood out from thousands of c andidate units in China, being successfully nominated as "Beautiful China" the best 10 tourist county (district) . Nevertheless, what are the musts for the tourists here?

Hankuimen Resort

The magnificence of Hankuimen matches up to that of the Kuimen in Three Gorges. Located in the Yizi village, Jinzhu town, near the Fengjie Sky Hole& Geosuture resort, Hankuimen bears great resemblance to the Three Gorges Kuimen. As a g reat wonder by crustal movement, its shape and steepness can be comparable with the Kuimen on the Yangtze River. Two huge cliffs are standing face-to-face, the mountains are rising to t he sky, leaving the middle a h igh straight and narrow mountain pass, like an opened stone door. The spectacular "Door" is about 600 meters high, more than 400 meters wide. The hung coffins from thousands of ye ars ago are the testimony of a ncient Ba culture. At the bottom of the Hankuimen canyon lays the maze river of a bout three kilometers. Spring waters rush down from the three magnif cent and steep cliffs, from which a 40-meter-high cliff fall is formed by the underground river within the cave.

Dragon Bridge River

World-class underground river -- Dragon Bridge River is located southeast to the Fengjie County Sky Hole&Geosuture scenic spot. Among the mountains in Dragon Bridge Township, Tu minority settlement, among Fengjie County, it is more than 1500 meters above sea level. Dragon Bridge river resort is 80 kilometers away from Fengjie County, 20km away from the Xinglong town. It is 3 km in length, meandering among the hills and peaks is the Dragon Bridge River. On both sides of the creek, there are plants full of v itality. River zigzags from the natural dragon bridge east to t he Yunlong cave west. Dragon Bridge is a m agnificent natural bridge, hanging across the valley. It is 50 meters wide, 80 meters high, and 10 meters span. Dragon Bridge cave is w here the river disappears, but where does the river run to after that? Despite the explorations conducted by Chinese and French explorers, it remains a mystery. Since 1995, explorers from China and France had entered the hole several times with failed attempt to f ind the river’s exit though. But the measured data show that the Dragon Bridge River is a World-class long underground river system.

Jinfeng Clouds

Jinfeng mountain is about 100 km away from Fengjie County, and 30 kilometers from Xinglong Town. Its gold phoenix shaped peaks win its title “Jinfeng”. As the summit of t he Sky Hole&geosuture scenic spot, standing on top of the mountain, a panoramic view of the whole karst landscape can be seen. This is the world's largest geomorphology with the best vegetation, known as Earth's "adolescence". If any lucky, you might also enjoy the gorgeous JinFeng clouds.

Maocaoba Ski Resort

On December 26, 2015, the Maocaoba Ski Resort, located in the Xinglong town of Fengjie County has opened. A coverage of 50,000 square meters Ski area can be divided into four sections-- the core skiing area, snow theme parks, leisure services area, and infrastructure area; in all there are three ski trails, a s now ring road, and a 1070-meter-long slope, which can accommodate 1,000 people to ski and play with snow. It is reported that the ski area is the city's sixth Ski Resort.

Xinglong Circular Tour

Besides the Baidi Town and the Sky Hole&Geosuture resort, Fengjie is also famous for the Xinglong Circular Tour. Currently, Fengjie has built a 5 6-kilometer long circular tour, connecting 11 county scenic areas. The tourists can go there to avoid summer heat while go skiing in winter. In addition, they can experience the alpine fishing, camping, rafting and other outdoor activities. Tourists from Chongqing take a journey about 400 kilometers to Fengjie County, or they can choose to take the G42 Shanghai-Chengdu high-speed way to Fengjie, which would cost them about 4 h ours. It would take another 1 hour from the county to X inglong Town where the rural inns are concentrated. A 56 kilometers of Travel circular line, which connects to the Gaolutang camping base; and the tourists can camp in pines. Moreover, tourists can enjoy the scenery along the way Kexin black bay primeval forests, Maocaoba alpine meadows, Sanyang Bay Fishing site, forty-two dam water reservoir-- 11 attractions in Fengjie. Playing while walking would take half a day. By the way, Xinglong Town is less than 10 kilometers from the Sky Hole.
