Making of a leading software city

The renown exhibition of its own kind， the 13th China （Nanjing） International Software Product Information Service Trade Fair （\"CIS\"） was held in Nanjing International Expo Center from 6-9 September. As a prefect industry platform for China and international software and information service suppliers， the exhibition this year achieved abundant fruits and concluded an investment volume of 33.7 billion RMB.

The exhibition this year continued to keep the largest scale of software exhibitions in China， and boasted an exhibition volume of 110，000 square meters， received 1375 exhibitors and 120，000 visitors， trade visitors and corporate users accounting for over 80%. The exhibition concluded 33.7 billion RMB investment， highest in all the past sessions of the exhibition.

On 6 September， a total of 1，300 delegates including local governmental officials， officials from nearly 30 foreign embassies in China， institutions， corporate management levels， and VIP trade visitors attended the opening ceremony. During the occasion， the annual report of industry development was released and the Famous Chinese Software City Information Platform was launched.

The exhibition this year featured high level of internationalization and extensive participation. With a host of functions like new product launching， technology exchange， product trade， and project docking， it had even richer content than previous sessions. Exhibitors included TOP 500 companies， and over 50 digital companies launched 200 IT products and drew extensive industry attention from China and abroad.

During the exhibition， the organizer hosted 2 theme activities， 1 release activity and 20 feature activities. City delegation groups came from about 30 Chinese cities including Beijing， Shanghai， Chongqing， Shenzhen and Guangzhou. About 10 cities set up city pavilion to showcase the forwarding development， key companies and brand products in local software industry. In addition， high-end summit was held and cooperation MOU was signed to further the development of Chinese software industry. A total of 33.7 billion RMB investment was concluded through the exhibition this year， covering 86 projects.

With abundant fruits in hand， the 13th China （Nanjing） International Software Product Information Service Trade Fair magnified the leading role of Nanjing as a renown software city and strongly promoted local software industry to go international.
