Gerald B?se renewed his contract as president K?lnmesse
Cologne’s exhibition boss Gerald B?se and the K?lnmesse supervisory board have come to an agreement to renew his contract as president and chief executive officer until 2023. B?se has held that position since spring 2008. \"This decision is a mark of our confidence. B?se took the company out of the financial and economic crisis and has placed it in a sustainable position among the top ten\", was how Henriette Rekers, mayoress of the city of Cologne and chair of the supervisory board, explained the decision. B?se also holds the position of chair of the European Chapter of the UFI.
新加坡平價藝術博覽會舉辦周期延長為每年一屆
日前,新加坡平價藝術博覽會主辦方宣布,將展覽會的周期由一年兩屆延長為一年一屆,即取消之前在每年4月份的展會,而專注于在11月份舉辦的展會。2018年4月的春季展將不再舉辦。
該藝術博覽會從2015年創辦以來,已成為新加坡深受歡迎的展覽會。下一屆秋季展將于今年11月17-19日舉行,展會內容將更加豐富,并設立更多展廳,反映新加坡日益繁榮的文化產業。除了深受歡迎的現有板塊,博覽會還將展示新生代藝術家作品,并設立一些新板塊。
Affordable Art Fair Singapore to consolidate two fairs
The Affordable Art Fair has announced that, after four years, it will be focusing on the November edition event as the flagship fair and will not be organising a 2018 Spring Edition fair (usually held in April) in Singapore. The popular event, which has been hosting two fairs per year since 2015, will instead focus on bringing an enhanced Autumn Edition programme to the city’s growing art scene when it returns November 17 to 19, 2017, showcasing a wide range of contemporary art.

CEIR Publishes Fourth Report in Series Focusing on Attendee Floor Engagement Tactics
On 19 July, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announced the release of Part Four: Exhibitor In-booth Tactics – Looking to the Future – Areas to Improve and Interest in New Models, the fourth report in its newest series on attendee floor engagement. “This particular report affirms the health of the B2B exhibition channel,” said CEIR CEO Cathy Breden, CMP, CAE. “Exhibitors are clearly committed to continuous quality improvement and evolving their exhibit programs to align with how attendees are looking to engage with them at events. Exhibitors and organizers would both benefit from reading this report.”
