2學(xué)情分析

Analysis of teaching materials:The topic of this unit is about decision making. This topic deals with talking about consequences, learning and mastering the ways to express the conditional adverbial clauses. In this period, students will learn the conditional adverbial clauses led by if and consolidate the Simple Future Tense. Students will also learn to talk about consequences and learn to give a judgment and make a decision according to the realities.

Analysis of the students: Students may have great interest in making a decision and giving a judgement. But they may don’t know how to talk about consequences. By learning some words and phrases, they not only get familiar with the process of making a decision, but also practice using these phrases. And how to arouse and keep their interest in English is still important in class teaching.

Students look at the pictures and Match them.

2. Task 2: Present the listening task and play the tape and tell the students to listen and check answers.

Listen to the conversation and check their answers.

At the same time, give them some key words to practice.

According to the conversation between teacher and students, the students listen and think how to express themselves with “if” clause.
