Yuntai Mount ain.云臺山

The Yuntai Mount ain features twelve major tourist scenes, supported by its magnificent canyon landscapes and changeable water features as well as an abundant forest resource at a coverage rate as high as 93%. The negative oxide ions in the air are a dozen times denser than the clean air standard promoted by the UNESCO.

以太行山岳豐富水景為特色，以峽谷類地質地貌景觀和悠久歷史文化為內涵，包含十二大景點，森林覆蓋率達到93%以上，負氧離子含量超過聯合國教科文組織規定的“清新空氣”標準數十倍。

The Red Canyon 紅石峽

The Red Canyon is famous as a miniature of everything, the spring, the waterfall, the brook, the pool, and the strange, straight cliffs. It is like a mini land of the great nature handcrafted by gods.

集泉、瀑、溪、潭于一谷，素來享有“盆景峽谷”的美譽。兩岸峭壁山石秀麗，仿佛鬼斧神工雕鑿而成的一個巨大盆景，又似名山大川的濃縮。

The Rock of A Hundred Houses 百家巖

It is said that Liu Xie, Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty once stayed here in a summer resort. During the Wei and Jin periods, the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove turned hermits in the bamboo grove at the Rock of A Hundred Houses, leaving behind them many places of historical interest.

漢獻帝劉協曾在此避暑納涼，魏晉時期，史稱“竹林七賢”的嵇康、劉伶、向秀、山濤等7位名士曾隱居百家巖竹林20余年，留下多個遺跡。

The Zifang Lake子房湖

The Zifang Lake is also called the Ping Lake. Because General Zhang Liang of Han Dynasty once trained his soldiers on the hill top of the west valley and in his later life retired here.So people named the lake after his nick name Zifang.At the two sides of the lake, mountains stand with the green water in between.

子房湖又叫“平湖”。因漢代張良（字子房）曾站在溝谷西側的山峰上，日夜操練兵馬，幫助劉邦成就大業后又隱退到此而得名。湖水面積1500畝，兩岸青山對峙，夾著一帶綠水。

Yuntai Waterfall 云臺天瀑

The Yuntai Waterfall runs at the deep end of Quanpu Canyon. The higher the mountain, the quicker waterfall. Being called the highest the waterfall in China, the waterfall tumbles from a height of 314 meters. Boating upstream, there're also other worth-seeing sites such as the Multi-source Spring, the Whispering Spring, the Quiet Pool and the Singing Dragon Waterfall.

位于泉瀑峽盡頭，峰高瀑急，落差314米，被稱為華夏第一高瀑。沿峽谷逆水而上，還有多孔泉、私語泉、幽潭、吟龍瀑等多個景點。

The Colorful Tunnel疊彩洞

Diecai Tunnel, meaning the colorful tunnel, is a masterpiece created by the local folks after the example of the Foolish Old Man in the ancient tale. It took ten years between 1977 and 1987 to build the tunnel, which consists of 19 caves, extends to a length of 4,831 meters, and a height of 912 meters. The altitude rises 5 meters very hundred meters traveled in the tunnel. One portion of the tunnel consists of eight caves that are inter-connected by 180-degree U turns, making a strange but inviting journey.

當地人民發揚“愚公精神”，從1977年至1987年，歷時十年，戰天斗地的杰作，它由大小19個洞組成，隧洞全長4831米，上下落差912米，車輛在此每走百米，海拔平均上升5米。其中連續8個隧洞內為180°的轉彎，首尾相連、曲洞連環，形成一道奇異獨特的風景線。

The Cemetery of Shang 商冢

The Cemetery of Shang was built at the end of the Battle of Muye, where Jifa defeated the last emperor of Shang and became the founder of the Zhou Dynasty. It was the first national cemetery in history and the prototype of Temple of the Gods depicted in the historical romance Investiture of the Gods.

武王伐紂牧野之戰，為犧牲將士建的一座國家公墓，也是我國最早有記載的將士紀念公墓，它開創了國家公祭之先河。小說《封神演義》中封神臺的原形便是此處。

History: dated back to the end of Shang Dynasty with a history of 3,060 years. Geography: under the administration of Jiaozuo City, the county locates in the northwest of Henan Province, sitting at the southern foot of Taihang Mount and at one of the sources of the Haihe Basin. Climate: has a humid subtropical climate with distinctive seasons. Average yearly temperature is 14.5 degree centigrade. Transport: has a favorable central location between Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, Xinxiang and Jiaozuo, in the 30-minute economic circle of the Central Henan Urban Agglomeration, an hour's drive from Zhengzhou International Airport and connected by an expressway between Zhengzhou and Yuntai Mount.

地理：位于河南省西北部，隸屬焦作市，位于太行山南麓，是海河流域的源頭之一。

氣候：屬暖溫帶大陸性季風氣候，春夏秋冬四季分明，年平均氣溫14.5℃。交通：處于鄭州、新鄉、焦作三個城市的中心地帶，位于中原城市群半小時經濟圈，距離新鄭國際機場僅有一個小時車程，且建有鄭州至云臺山的直達高速公路。
