Nowadays people like traveling around to relax themselves. When it comes to traveling ways， different people offer different opinions. Some like to travel alone， but some like to travel with others. Travelling alone is good for enjoying more freedom， and traveling with others who have the same interest is a way to share happiness.

My Ways of Learning English

My favorite subject is English. I became interested in it when I was little. The most important thing to learn it is that you must listen to the teacher carefully. Besides， I listen to the English news on VOA and BBC. While listening to the news， I try to write down everything I hear to learn expressions and also practice listening. When I find my reading is not poor， I begin to read English newspapers and English novels.

These are my ways of learning English. I’ll try my best to learn it well.

Nowadays， after-class activities are becoming more and more popular in schools. Our school has many kinds of after-class activities， such as English corner and sports clubs. I am interested in the English corner because I can make some new friends there. If you also want to take part in after-class activities， I have some suggestions. English Online made a survey on what junior middle school students do in their spare time. Here is the result.

After school， 70% of the students study， read books or do homework at home. 5% of them watch TV and 10% play computer games. And 15% of them do sports or play outdoors.

Things are much better than before， but still about 70% of students are busy studying in their spare time. Study is not the only important thing for students. So is playing. By playing， students can keep healthy and learn things that they can’t get from books. So students need more time to do different kinds of activities.

Nowadays， many foreign festivals have come into China， such as Christmas Day， Valentine’s Day， and April Fool’s Day.

Save Food and Eat Healthily

Our government has called on people to save food and eat healthily so that we can enjoy a happy life. We middle school students should do something as well.

To save food， we should eat up all the food and never order the food more than we can eat while dining out， because many people in the world don’t have enough to eat.

To eat healthily， we’d better not choose junk food. It’s good to keep a balanced diet. We’d better not eat in small restaurants because the food and the oil they use are not clean or healthy enough. It’s better to eat at school or at home.
