What time is it?

Look at the clock face. The little hand tells the hours. The big hand tells the minutes.

When you press its button, a stopwatch counts time. When you press it again, the watch stops.

People used to tell the time by the Sun and the shadows it casts.

While it is daytime on one side of the Earth, it is nighttime on the other.

As the Earth spins round, the Sun’s rays fall first on one side of the Earth, then on the other.
