淺析莎士比亞作品中對愛情的不同描述

[摘 要] 莎士比亞一生創作豐富，其中很多題材都是以愛情為主，以戀愛來反映社會。在作品中莎士比亞表達了自己的愛情觀。莎士比亞同人文主義的觀點一樣，認為愛情是純潔的、唯一的、公平的、忠誠的。借助英語語料庫的幫助，列出每句在莎士比亞作品中出現的關于愛情的句子，加以分析，從而讓讀者對莎士比亞的愛情觀有所了解。

一、引言

什么是愛？愛是五月的天，是雨后的彩虹。在很長的一段時間里，作家們都用愛作為他們寫作的主題。但是，不同的時期，人們對愛情的解讀也是不一樣的。英國人文主義代表之一的莎士比亞，喜歡在他的作品里描述例如愛與青春、愛與美貌、愛與生命、愛與忠誠等話題。作為人文主義的支持者，莎士比亞對愛的描述在深度及廣度上都遠超于他前期的作者。對莎士比亞而言，愛是人類最自然的感情，是我們無法拒絕、改變及控制的自然法規。

從前期學者們對莎士比亞作品的研究中，我們可以得出：愛對莎士比亞而言，是人性、平等以及忠誠。“人性”肯定了人類情感及欲望的合理性，不同于中世紀的禁欲主義，“人性”提倡人們應該追求自己的欲望。莎士比亞在他與愛情相關的作品里，描述了人類意識的缺陷，理性的力量以及自由的價值。“我們是自然之子，我們生來就有愛的能力”這句話就是對“人性”最好的闡釋。在中世紀，男女不平等，在任何事情上女性都是極其被動的，更別說選擇愛的權利。然而在莎士比亞的作品里，女性相較男性而言更有勇氣、智慧，更足智多謀，她們也有選擇快樂和愛的權利。在他的作品里男女是平等的。莎翁的喜劇和悲劇存在著一個共同點：愛高于一切。“只要有真愛，我們就堅持到底”是對“忠誠”的解讀，這也是莎士比亞一直提倡的觀點之一。

然而，前期的學者只對莎士比亞與愛相關的作品做了淺顯的分析，他們并沒有用特定的數據（英語語料庫）對莎翁筆下每一句與愛相關的句子進行分析。 我們用語料庫的數據資源對莎翁的愛情觀做研究，把莎翁所有作品里和愛相關的句子全部下載出來，再逐一進行分析，這樣可以得出最精確的莎翁愛情觀。

二、莎士比亞作品里對愛情的不同描述

莎士比亞作品語料庫里一共有942，786 個單詞，我們在語料庫里搜索“love”“loving”“loves” “loved”，一共得到2，820條有用信息。列舉幾條如下：
