他們到“外面的世界”來一場文化之旅

這個七月，藍天白云成了這座城市的常客，通透的空氣和明朗的日光襯得它格外耀眼。此時，一群從歐洲和非洲遠道而來的外國學生，將他們的影蹤留在了重慶這季美麗的夏天里。

一行31人，其中十位來自波蘭，21位來自貝寧，重慶成為了他們中大部分人踏足亞洲的第一站；全程15天，從武術漢語書法繪畫，到火鍋輕軌大足石刻，年輕的面孔第一次親歷中國文化與重慶元素，每一個細胞似乎都在吸收新鮮的養分。

“友誼萬歲”“明年再來”……重慶之于他們，曾是“外面的世界”，從此，成為了他們心馳神往的城市。

This July,Chongqing welcomed a group of foreign students from Europe and Africa with a dazzling summer of blue sky,white clouds and beautiful sunshine.

This group consists of 31 people with 10 from Poland and 21 from Benin.For most of them,Chongqing is their first stop to set foot in Asia.During the past 15 days,they had the chance to experience Chinese culture with elements of Chongqing here,where they learned the martial arts,Chinese,calligraphy and painting,enjoyed the hotpot,Chongqing Rail Transit and visited the Dazu Rock Carvings.

“Long live friendship!”,“We will come back next year.”they said before leaving.To them,Chongqing once was unknown,while since then,it has become a fascinating city.

多樣化的都市打開眼界

這些海外學生于7月4日到7月19日，集結重慶，參加重慶交通大學漢語文化夏令營，最小的才15歲。15天的行程里，他們一邊接受中國文化課程，一邊走出戶外，一睹山城的魅力。

“重慶人出門可以選擇坐公交車、輕軌、出租車，或者是共享汽車。在波蘭，人們出門通常只有打車，重慶的選擇更多，速度還特別快。”在波蘭西里西亞理工大學攻讀交通專業博士的凱特對行程之一的交通文化之旅印象很深，由于她的研究方向是共享汽車系統，這一天的所見所得，為她帶來了很多城市交通規劃的案例素材。當天一大早，夏令營學員從二塘站出發乘坐輕軌3號線，一路上，他們看到軌道列車跨越兩江、穿越樓宇、依山而行，“3D”城市的定義直觀生動地展現在他們眼前。

在輕軌上，學員們順便感受了重慶人的熱情好客。本地人笑嘻嘻地用簡單的英語跟他們打招呼，合影留念，雖然語言有些隔閡，他們也體會到了自己的受歡迎程度。一部分來自重慶交通大學與貝寧阿波美卡拉維大學共建的孔子學院的學生，他們能用較規范的漢語進行交流。見到有抱小孩的女乘客，來自貝寧的Rivock還主動起身讓座，周圍的乘客不禁為他點贊。

From July 4 to July 19,these overseas students,including the youngest of 15-year-old,gathered in Chongqingto join Summer Camp of Chinese Language & Culture Study in Chongqing Jiaotong University.During the 15-day trip,they attended Chinese culture courses and toured outside to have a glimpse of the charming city.

“In Chongqing,people can choose to take the bus,CRT,taxi,or car-sharing.But,in Poland,taxi is the only choice.”Kate is studying at the University of Science and Technology in the University of Silesia,Poland,and she was deeply impressed by the one-day traffic culture journey in Chongqing,which brought her a lot of case materials on urban traffic planning for her car-sharing system research.Early in the morning,the students started their journey by light rail line 3.Along the way,they saw the light rail crossing the Yangtze River and Jialing River,going through buildings and nearby mountains.What an intuitive and vivid “3D”city it is.

In the light rail,students felt the warmth and hospitality of Chongqing people.Locals smiled and greeted them with simple English,posed for photographs.Language was not the gaps between their communications.Some students from the Confucius institute co-built by Chongqing Jiaotong University and the University of Abomey-Calavi are able to communicate with more standardized Chinese language.Rivock,a student from Benin,took the initiative to step aside when he saw a woman with a baby,and the passengers around him could not help but give him a thumb up.

細節美的文化引人入勝

Fascinating Culture with Detailed Beauty

15天后的閉營儀式上，每個學員幾乎都擔綱了一項表演任務：民族舞蹈《土家擺手舞》、古典舞蹈《采薇》、武術表演《五步拳》《少林王》、歌曲《給我一個吻》《外面的世界》，以及中國文化展示。這些內容都是學員們在夏令營開設的文化課上學習的，平均每一項只有4~6小時的教學時間。不過他們的熟練程度卻很高，尤其是舞蹈和中國文化展示部分。舞蹈老師說，《土家擺手舞》是最有重慶特色的，難度不低，但不到4個小時30來號人全部都學會了，上課的間隙，還有人主動來請教動作，“看得出他們很喜歡咱們的文化。”

“你們的文化特別注重細節和儀式感，這點很有意思，”在波蘭學員的回程行李里，采購了很多中式的茶具準備帶回國。一頭卷發的Bartek上了茶藝課才知道，泡茶原來是件很莊重的事，要坐得很筆直，循著一道道工序，所以他們對茶藝產生了濃厚興趣，冒著行李超重的風險也要多買幾套回去。

金發碧眼的波蘭美女Barbara對大足石刻的精妙贊不絕口。“很難相信靠雙手和簡單的工具就雕刻出這么精美的作品，從人的神態、裝扮各種復雜的細節都能看到。還有千手觀音，每只手上都有眼睛，聽說它們有很深的寓意，的確太偉大了。”

On the closing ceremony of summer camp,each student undertook a performance task,including the folk dance of “Tujia Hand-waving Dance”,classical dance of “Plucking”,martial arts performance of “Five-step boxing”and “King of Shaolin”,the song of “Give me a kiss”“The world outside”as well as Chinese culture show.These were learned by the students in the cultural courses opened by summer camp with an average teaching time of only 4 to 6 hours.However,their proficiency has reached required level,especially in the dance and Chinese culture show.The dance teacher said,Although “Tujia Hand-waving Dance”is a challenging dance with distinctive Chongqing characteristics,all of them have grasped the skill within 4 hours.How amazing! What’s more,some ofthem consulted me instead of having a break,From these,we can see they are really keen on our culture.”

“It’s interesting that your culture pays special attention to details and rituals.”The students of Poland purchased a lot of Chinese tea sets to bring home.Bartek with curly hair learned that tea-making is a very solemn thing for its elaborate procedures.Finally,they had a strong interest in tea and bought a few sets at the risk of overweight baggage.

Blonde Polish beauty Barbara is full of excitement at the Dazu Rock Carvings.“It is hard to believe that such beautiful works can be carved by hand and simple tools,because all the complex details such as the demeanor and dress-up can be seen.There is Thousand-Hand Kwan-yin with profound meaning,which is of magnificence.

今后想帶家人再來

Hope to Visit China with families One Day

夏令營的成員都是第一次到重慶，大部分人還是第一次涉足亞洲，除了莫里斯。他來自貝寧，1998年他在北京求學，一直讀到博士畢業，曾入相聲大師丁廣泉門下，在中國呆了十年，熱門的城市他幾乎都去過，唯獨重慶是離開中國十年后才有幸真的到來。不過他依然覺得很親切，“重慶和我聽說的樣子沒有差別，”1998年，莫里斯知道重慶剛成為了中國第四個直轄市，到過重慶的朋友告訴他這里的人很熱情，城市很有特色。

第一次離家遠行的波蘭人Anna剛訂婚不久，在夏令營的尾聲她已經流露出明顯的思鄉之情，盡管如此，這趟重慶文化之旅給她留下了美好的印象，“明年我想帶丈夫一起來中國，再來重慶看看，”閉營儀式上，Anna左手握著毛筆寫下了四個清秀修長的漢字：友誼萬歲。

Bartek拜托志愿者給他取了一個中文名字，希望表達游歷中國、體驗中國文化的生活志向，他得到的名字是：悠然。他代表校友們致辭時說，他們有很多要向重慶學習的地方，尊重并且欣賞我們的價值觀、生活方式。這次重慶之行，似乎開啟了Bartek他們對中國的向往，很多學員明年都有計劃參加留學中國的項目。

It was the first time that all students of summer camp visited Chongqing,even Asia,except Morris,who came from Benin.In 1998,he started studying in Beijing until he obtained his doctoral degree.He once took the comic master Ding Guangquan as his teacher.During his 10-year stay in China,he has almost been to all popular cities but Chongqing.After 10 years,he had an opportunity to visit it.“Chongqing indeed is the place I once heard of.”In 1998,Morris learned that Chongqing just became the fourth municipality directly under the Central Government.Any friend who had been to Chongqing would tell him this is an amazing city with hospitable citizens.

Anna,a Polish student,first left her homeland to after engagement.At the end of the summer camp she has shown a clear homesickness,but she was also quite impressed by this trip and said,“Next year I want to bring my husband to China,to Chongqing together.”At the closing ceremony,she held a brush and wrote four delicate slender Chinese characters: Long live friendship.

Bartek asked the volunteer to give him a Chinese name-You Ran (the meaning of carefree and leisurely ease) to express his life ambition on traveling to China and experiencing the Chinese culture.On behalf of his alumni,he gave the speech that they will learn from China’s culture,respect and appreciate China’s values and lifestyles.This trip to Chongqing seems to have aroused Bartek’s longing for China,and many students have plans to attend the study program in China next year.
