1. — Did you see any cows？

— Yes， I did. I saw quite a lot.

是的，我看到了許多奶牛。

（1） quite a lot意為“許多；相當多”，可以單獨使用，也可跟of + 可數/不可數名詞。

We drank quite a lot of wine.

我們喝了不少酒。

I saw quite a lot of flowers.

我看到了相當多的花。

表示“相當多”，還可以用quite a little和quite a few。quite a little后跟不可數名詞；quite a few后跟可數名詞。

2. Did Carol take any photos？

卡羅爾拍照片了嗎？

take與photo，picture等詞搭配時，表示“拍攝；攝影”。

（1） 表示“拍攝某物或人”，后接介詞of。

She likes to take photos of animals.

她喜歡給動物照相。

（2） 表示“替/為……拍照”，后接介詞for。

Could you take a photo for me here？

你能在這兒給我拍張照嗎？

（3） 表示“和……照相；用……照相”，后接介詞with。

May I take a photo with you？

我能和你一起拍張照嗎？

3. Did you learn anything？

你學到東西了嗎？

（1） anything pron.“任何東西；任何事物”，常用于否定句或疑問句中。不定代詞something常用于肯定句中。

I knew something about the movie.

關于這部電影，我了解一些。

Did you know anything about the book？

你對這本書有所了解嗎？

（2） 否定句中not...anything相當于nothing。

I didnt know anything about the book.

= I knew nothing about the movie.

我對這部電影一無所知。

（3） 形容詞修飾anything/something時，要放在其后面。

Is there anything new in this book？

這本書里有新的內容嗎？

4. Lucky you.

你真幸運。

這是一句非正式用語，相當于Youre so lucky.

Lucky之后的人稱還可以改為me， him等。

5. ...we worried it would rain.

……我們擔心會下雨。

（1） worry v. & n. 擔心；擔憂

Dont worry about your little boy.

不用操心你年幼的兒子。

I have a lot of worries.

我有很多擔憂。

（2） worried adj. 焦慮的

常與系動詞be/look/feel連用，構成系表結構。

be worried about... 為……擔心

I was worried about you.

我很擔心你。
