今年1—5月重慶外貿進出口額同比增長11.5%

6月19日，重慶海關消息，今年1—5月，重慶外貿進出口總值為1853.8億元人民幣，同比增長11.5%。其中出口1173.5億元，增長12.6%；進口680.3億元，增長9.8%。根據數據來看，呈現5個特點：一是加工貿易、一般貿易進出口保持積極增長，保稅物流進出口增幅持續擴大。二是民營企業進出口大幅增長。三是對歐盟、美國、韓國，以及“一帶一路”沿線國家的進出口保持增長。四是便攜式電腦出口量減價增，中央處理部件、集成電路、摩托車、汽車等商品出口增勢強勁。五是集成電路、農產品進口增長貢獻突出。

“重慶與世界嘉年華”迎來澳大利亞原住民文化周

6月30日，2018“重慶與世界嘉年華”迎來澳大利亞原住民文化周。澳大利亞駐成都總領事館舉辦了主題為“融合”的澳大利亞原住民藝術展、原住民文化主題沙龍等活動。藝術展上，澳籍華人周小平通過40余幅繪畫及攝影作品，將原汁原味的澳大利亞原住民文化藝術介紹給重慶市民。原住民文化沙龍通過主題沙龍對話形式，分享澳大利亞原住民文化藝術，展示跨文化的藝術成果，增進不同民族之間的溝通和了解。據了解，每年7月定期舉行的澳大利亞原住民歷史文化周（NAIDOC Week）是為了慶祝澳大利亞土著居民與托雷斯海峽島民歷史、文化與成就的年度活動。今年是澳大利亞第一次在重慶舉辦原住民文化主題的推廣活動，將有力促進澳大利亞與重慶在文化藝術領域的交流合作。

中歐班列（重慶）突破2000班

6月28日上午10點，第2000班中歐班列（重慶），從沙坪壩團結村中心站駛出。全國40多個中歐班列，重慶率先突破2000班，并保持了累計開行數量最多、運輸貨值最大的地位。中歐班列（重慶）開辟了重慶向西連接歐洲的國際物流通道，在其示范帶動下，近年來重慶還陸續開辟了向東、向南、向北的國際物流通道。不斷完善的國際物流通道體系，對口岸功能、市場主體、營商環境等也起到積極作用，重慶開放型經濟呈現良好態勢。

重慶市國際教育發展研究中心在川外揭牌成立

6月20日，重慶市教育對外開放研討會在四川外國語大學模擬聯合國實驗室舉行。來自教育部、市級相關部門及市內大中小學的70余名專家學者，圍繞“教育國際化”“教育對外開放”等主題，為推動新時期重慶教育的對外開放建言獻策。同時，重慶市國際教育發展研究中心在四川外國語大學揭牌成立，將緊扣國家和重慶市對外開放發展的需要，為高等教育、基礎教育和職業教育國際發展提供有針對性的法律、政策、決策等服務。目前，該中心正在開展《“一帶一路”沿線國家高等教育發展戰略研究》，預計2018年底結題，2019年出版相關專著。

共建中國工程科技發展戰略重慶研究院

6月21日，中國工程院與重慶市政府簽訂合作協議，共建中國工程科技發展戰略重慶研究院。重慶研究院將以發揮院士作用為核心，團結和帶領創新團隊，促進產學研用深度融合。這必將有力提升重慶高端智庫建設水平和科學決策能力，帶動高端創新資源向重慶集聚，助推“兩點”定位和“兩地”“兩高”目標的兌現落實。

2017年度中國零售百強榜重慶商社位列十一

6月21日，第十三屆中國零售商大會暨展會在重慶悅來國際會議中心舉行。中國商業聯合會、中華全國商業信息中心聯合發布了2017年度中國零售百強榜單，其中，天貓、京東與大商奪得前三；重慶商社（集團）有限公司上榜，以582.8億元的年銷售額，位列全國十一。2017年，中國零售百強仍保持較快的增長，其中實體企業回暖成為亮點。

重慶率先在西部發起設立境外投資基金

6月21日，第十三屆中國重慶高新技術交易會暨第九屆中國國際軍民兩用技術博覽會上，重慶天使投資引導基金與硅谷基金簽署合作協議，共同發起設立硅谷基金二期有限合伙（簡稱“TVF II期基金”）。作為西部地區政府引導基金在境外發起的第一支早期創業投資基金，TVF II期基金將致力于投資硅谷早期創新企業，推動被投企業或技術項目落地重慶，助力重慶智能制造產業和醫療健康產業高質量發展。

中新互聯互通南向通道開辟整車進口新途徑

6月18日，中新南向通道(重慶)物流發展有限公司消息，首批通過南向鐵海聯運常態化班列運輸的進口整車，抵達西部物流園重慶整車進口口岸。標志著南向通道整車進口又開辟了一條快捷、高效、穩定的運輸渠道。這批整車從加拿大當地直采，貨源進入南向通道鐵海聯運路線，通過海運運抵欽州港后，在兩地海關、鐵路部門、代理企業聯合保障下，實現欽州港快速轉關，再搭乘南向通道上行班列48小時內快速運抵重慶鐵路口岸。此條整車進口通道將有力促進來自中東、美洲等地的進口汽車更快速地進入內地消費市場。

重慶新增直飛越南峴港航線

6月18日，四川航空公司消息，四川航空開通了重慶往返峴港航線。該航線班期為每周一、三、六，是川航繼重慶往返芽莊航線后的又一條越南航線，為旅客出游越南提供更多行程選擇。峴港是越南第四大城市，位于越南中部，是前往北部河內和南部胡志明市的重要樞紐。

Chongqing’s Total Foreign Trade Volume From January to May This Year Increased by 11.5% Year-on-year

On June 19, according to Chongqing Customs, from January to May this year,Chongqing’s total foreign trade value is 185.38 billion yuan, with an increase of 11.5%. Among which, exports value is 117.35 billion yuan, up 12.6%; imports value is 68.03 billion yuan, up 9.8%. The data present five characteristics:First,the total foreign trade of processing trade and general trade has maintained positive growth, and the growth rate of the foreign trade of bonded logistics has continued to increase. Second, the foreign trade of private enterprises has grown substantially. Third, the foreign trade with the EU,the United States, South Korea, and countries along the Belt and Road remains growing.Fourth, the export volume of portable computers has declined in amount and increased in prices,and the export volume of CPU components,integrated circuits, motorcycles, and automobiles has increased strongly. Fifth, the contribution of the import volume of integrated circuits and agricultural products has been outstanding.

iChongqing Carnival Ushered in NAIDOC Week

On June 30, 2018 iChongqing Carnival ushered in the NAIDOC Week. The Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu hosted the Australian Aboriginal Art Exhibition with the theme of “Integration”, Salon themed with Aboriginal Culture and so on. At the art exhibition, Chinese-Australian Zhou Xiaoping introduced the original Australian Aboriginal culture and art to Chongqing citizens through more than 40 paintings and photographs. The Aboriginal Culture Salon shares Australian Aboriginal culture and art through themed salon dialogues, demonstrating cross-cultural artistic achievements and enhancing communication and understanding between different ethnic groups. It is understood that the annual NAIDOC Week is held in July every year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Australian Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders. The activities year witnessed Australia’s first promotion with the theme of Aboriginal cultural in Chongqing, which will promote exchanges and cooperation between Australia and Chongqing in the fi eld of culture and art.

China Railway Express (from Chongqing) Passes Over 2000 Runs

At 10 am on June 28, the 2000th train of China Railway Express(CR Express) (from Chongqing), pulled out of the Tuanjiecun Central Station in Shapingba District. Among more than 40 routes of CR Express across the country, the one starting from Chongqing has taken the lead in breaking through 2000 runs, and maintained the largest quantity of cumulative train running and the largest value of transported goods. CR Express (from Chongqing) has opened up an international logistics channel connecting Chongqing to Europe in the west. Under its influence, in recent years, Chongqing has successively opened up international logistics channels to the east,south and north. The continuous improvement of the international logistics channel system has also played a positive role in port functions, market participants and business environment. The open economy of Chongqing has maintained a good momentum.

Chongqing International Education Development Research Center Established in SISU

On June 20th, the Chongqing Education’s Opening-up Seminar was held at the MUN Laboratory in Sichuan International Studies University. More than 70 experts and scholars from the Ministry of Education, relevant municipal departments and city’s colleges,middle and primary schools have made suggestions on promoting the opening up of Chongqing’s education in the new era around topics such as “internationalization of education” and “openingup of education”. At the same time, Chongqing International Education Development Research Center was unveiled at Sichuan International Studies University, which will focus on the needs of opening up and development of the country and Chongqing, and provide specific laws, policies and decisions for the international development of higher education, basic education and vocational education. At present, the center is carrying out the “Study on the Development Strategy of Higher Education in the Countries along the Belt and Road”. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2018 and related monographs will be published in 2019.

Co-constructing Chongqing Academy of China’s Engineering Science and Technology for Development

On June 21st, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chongqing Municipal Government signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build the Chongqing Academy of China’s Engineering Science and Technology for Development. The Chongqing Academy will take the role of academicians as the core, unite and lead the innovation team, and deepen industry-university-research cooperation.This will definitely enhance the construction of Chongqing’s high-end think tanks and the scientific decision-making ability, attract high-end innovation resources to Chongqing,and promote to fulfill the goals of being “the important strategy support of China Western Development and the junction point of the Belt and Road and Yangtze River Economic Belt”, constructing the “open highland in the hinterland of China and a beautiful place with picturesque scenery”, as well as creating “high quality development and life”.

Chongqing General Trading Group Ranked 11 in the List of 2017 China Retailer Top 100

On June 21st, the 13th China Retailer Convention& Exhibition was held at Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. China General Chamber of Commerce and China National Commercial Information Center jointly released the list of 2017 China Retailer Top 100, among which Tmall, JD.com and Dashang group won the top three;Chongqing General Trading Group ranked 11th on the list,with 58.28 billion yuan of annual sales. In 2017, China’s top 100 retailers maintained rapid growth, and the recovery of real enterprises became the highlight.

Chongqing Leads in China’s Western Region in Setting up An Overseas Investment Fund

On June 21, at the 13th China Chongqing High-tech Fair and the 9th China International of Exhibition of Military& Civil Technologies, Chongqing Angel Investment Guiding Fund signed a cooperation agreement with Valley Fund to jointly establish the Valley Fund Phase II Limited Partnership(referred to as “TVF Phase II Fund”). As the first overseas early-stage venture capital fund initiated by the fund guided by Government in China Western Region, the TVF Phase II Fund will invest in early innovation companies in Silicon Valley, promote the invested enterprises or technology projects to operate in Chongqing, and contribute to high quality development of Chongqing’s intelligent manufacturing industry and medical health industry.

China-Singapore Connectivity Project Southward Passageway Opens up a New Approach for Importing Vehicles

On June 18th, according to China-Singapore Southward Passageway (Chongqing) Logistics Development Co., Ltd., the first batch of imported vehicles that carried by the regular block trains of the southward sea-railway transportation arrived at the port for Chongqing’s Imported Vehicles in Chongqing Logistics City. It marks another fast,efficient and stable transportation channel for importing vehicles from southward passageway. All of vehicles in this batch are directly purchased from Canada, and then the goods entered the southward passageway of the railwaysea joint transportation route. After being transported by sea to Qinzhou Port, the goods are quickly transferred under the joint guarantee of the customs, railway departments and agencies of two places and carried to Chongqing Railway Port within 48 hours through block trains in the southward passageway. This vehicle import channel will effectively accelerate the entrance of imported cars from the Middle East, the America and other places to the mainland consumer market.

Chongqing Added Direct Flights to Vietnam Da Nang

On June 18th, Sichuan Airlines reported that it has opened the air route between Chongqing and Da Nang,which will be operated every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It is another Vietnam route after Sichuan Airlines’route between Chongqing and Nha Trang, providing more options for travelers to Vietnam. Da Nang, which is in the central Vietnam, is the country’s fourth largest city and an important hub for travelling to Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south.
