Although we can’t stop the natural disaster,we can prevent and try to reduce unnecessary losses. To learn to live, nobody can neglect its important role.
The 5·12 great earthquake has caused many people in Sichuan to lose their lives. But there are a lot of people who have survived miraculously. This makes us know more about the benefits of learning to live.
In the earthquake,a little girl was studying in the classroom. She was under the collapsed teaching building. She put the stone away side by hand and had a very small space. She continued to move, but one of her legs was crushed by a large piece of cement board. She decided to use a sharp piece of gravel to cut the leg off.She dragged the body tiredly with the bleeding leg.A passage way to life was dug out.She changed her life with a short pain.As one article said,“At a certain time, you only dare to give up,there is a chance to gain a more long-term interest.”
Before the Tangshan earthquake,it was found that a man’s homemade seismograph was ringing. The rabbit in the underground ran away. The cock dared not go into the nest. The small cat,who was usually agile and clever, was also dejected all day.He thought there might be an earthquake.
But when he told his guess to the people in the yard, they did not believe. He had to do some preparation and prevention by himself. It also tells us that it is necessary to know some of the phenomena before the disaster.Only in this way, when natural disaster comes,we can take the right measures to protect ourselves!

1.But there are a lot of people who have survived miraculously.
2....it was found that a man’s homemade seismograph was ringing.……
3.The small cat,who was usually agile and clever, was also dejected all day.
