One day，a young man saw a wallet on the ground while walking along a road.He picked it up and noticed that it was empty.Suddenly a young woman with a policeman came and the policeman took the man to the police station.The woman kept on asking where he hid her money but the man replied，“It was empty when I found it，Madam.”The woman shouted at him，“Give it back.It’s for my son’s school fees（學(xué)費(fèi)）.”

The man noticed that the woman really felt sad.And he could also see that she was a single mother.So he decided to help her.He handed all his

money to her and said，“Take the money back.Sorry for my wrong doing.”The woman put the money in her pocket and left the police station angrily.Then the policeman went on questioning the young man.

The woman began to count the money as soon as she got home.To her surprise，she found it was doubled！ She was in a confused（迷惑）state of mind，so she hurried to the police station.On hearing what the woman said，the policeman said to her，“The man didn’t return your money，but gave all his money to you just now.He wasn’t the thief.He felt very sad when he heard that you had your son’s school fees stolen.He just wanted to help you by giving you all his money.”

When she heard the policeman’s words，the woman felt very sorry for her wrong doing to the young man.She didn’t know how to apologize and say thanks to him.

We may sometimes make wrong judgments when we are in anger，but we can never let the kind people feel cold！

1.One day，a young man saw a wallet on the ground while walking along a road.有一天，當(dāng)一個(gè)年輕人沿著路行走時(shí)，他看到地上有個(gè)錢包。

while walking along a road為“從屬連詞+現(xiàn)在分詞短語”結(jié)構(gòu)，用作時(shí)間狀語，相當(dāng)于從句：while he was walking along a road。使用while的這種結(jié)構(gòu)時(shí)，現(xiàn)在分詞短語的邏輯主語必須與前面句子的主語保持一致，并且現(xiàn)在分詞應(yīng)該是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。

2.He felt very sad when he heard that you had your son’s school fees stolen.當(dāng)他聽說你兒子的學(xué)費(fèi)被偷了時(shí)，他感到很難過。

這是主從復(fù)合句，when引導(dǎo)的是時(shí)間狀語從句；had your son’s school fees stolen屬have sth.done結(jié)構(gòu)，意為“遭遇（蒙受）某事”。另外，have sth.done也可表示“叫別人把某事做了”。

3.We may sometimes make wrong judgments when we are in anger，but we can never let the kind people feel cold！當(dāng)我們生氣時(shí)，我們有時(shí)可能會做出錯(cuò)誤的判斷，但我們決不能讓好心人感到心寒！

the kind people feel cold是let的復(fù)合賓語，the kind people是賓語，feel cold是省略了to的動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語補(bǔ)足語；when是連詞，引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語從句；but用作并列連詞，意為“但是；然而”等，連接兩個(gè)并列分句，表示轉(zhuǎn)折意義。
