The bottle is full of water.
The bottle ______ ______ ______ water.
答案:is filled with
【解析】be full of意為“裝滿……”,相當于be filled with(用…… 又如:
The classroom was full of students.
2. Many people like reading newspapers __________ they can learn what’s happening in the world.(2017·山東德州)
A. so that B. ever since C. as soon as D. even though
so that引導目的狀語從句,通常和情態(tài)動詞can、could、may、might等連用。故選A。
3. We should study hard __________ we can get much knowledge.(2017·
A. when B. so that C. unless D. in order to
時候”,so that“以便,為了”,unless“除非”。
拓展:so...that...
It was so heavy that I could not move it.
