杜嘉班納（Dolce&Gabbana）生產工廠坐落于阿爾諾河河畔托斯卡納區(qū)的丘陵地帶，屬于皮革制品最著名的生產地區(qū)——瓦爾達諾的印加的中心位置。作為綜合體建造的一期工程，工廠擬定為獨立的封閉式大樓。目前建筑面積為5,500平方米，根據工廠的功能需求進行體積分布。該項目滿足客戶對工廠的各方面要求：功能性、高效性和合理性；與周圍環(huán)境相輔相成；體現了杜嘉班納的品牌形象。整個建筑的設計能夠支持物品裝卸所需的設備移動和調用。體量在庭院和建筑立面中交替，一個面向州道，一個面向城鎮(zhèn)路，另一個面向地塊內，每個都采用不同的設計，可以支持不同的活動形式。單一車輛入口確保有效控制交通流量。建筑群沒有大的體積差異，所有建筑物的高度都在8米左右，與所有建筑立面的屋檐相對應。作為倉庫的建筑采用外露的預制混凝土板建造，與辦公樓和工廠采用的木板和玻璃板形成鮮明對比。窗外是長在黑色火山巖上的石榴、龍舌蘭和地中海棕櫚樹。這些植物的味道和顏色都是西西里鄉(xiāng)村的典型特征，呼應著時裝設計師的故鄉(xiāng)。該地塊的剩余部分，約46,000平方米，屬于環(huán)境治理項目，通過保存并優(yōu)化現有植被，突出這一地區(qū)（阿爾諾河、道路、周圍山丘）的結構標志。

The production facilities of Dolce&Gabbana are situated in the hills of Tuscany on the banks of the River Arno, right in the heart of what is traditionally the most famous area for the production of leather goods,Incisa in Val D’Arno. The structure is only thefirst phase of a much larger complex, which will be configured as a single, closed block. The present building has an area of 5,500 sqm, volumetrically distributed in accordance with the functional needs of the plant. The project responds to a series of different client requirements: the functionality, efficiency and rationally that a factory demands; dialogue with and respect for the surrounding landscape; suitability to the image of the Dolce&Gabbana brand. The entire structure is designed in function of the movements and manoeuvres necessary for the loading and unloading of merchandise. The volumes alternate in a play of courts and facades, one facing the state highway, another the town road, another the interior of the lot, each with a different architectural solution in function of the activities taking place within. A single vehicular entrance ensures efficient control of traffic flow. There are no major volumetric variations in the complex – the heights of all the buildings are around 8 metres,corresponding to the eaves of all the facades. The structure that will serve as a warehouse is realized with exposed prefabricated concrete panels, creating a formal contrast with the wood and glass panels that define the fa?ade of the office building and leatherwork facility. The windows look onto a grove of pomegranate, agave and Mediterranean palm trees planted in a bed of black volcanic rock. The fragrances and colors are typical of the Sicilian countryside, a reminder of the fashion designers’ origins. The remaining part of the lot, about 46,000 sqm, was the object of an environmental recovery project that emphasizes the structural signs of the landscape (the River Arno, the roadways, the profile of the surrounding hills) through the preservation and optimization of the existing vegetation.
