● 重慶市人民政府外事辦公室掛牌

10月25日，重慶市人民政府外事辦公室正式掛牌，副市長劉桂平出席掛牌活動并揭牌。

《重慶市機構改革方案》明確，在市政府外事僑務辦公室外事工作職責基礎上，組建市政府外事辦公室，作為市政府組成部門，保留市政府港澳事務辦公室牌子，不再保留市政府外事僑務辦公室。

● 瑞典西哥特蘭省省督安德士·丹尼爾森成功訪渝

10月23日至25日，瑞典西哥特蘭省省督安德士·丹尼爾森率團來渝訪問。23日下午，市委副書記、市長唐良智會見丹尼爾森一行并在市外事大樓共同簽署了兩市省建立友好合作關系諒解備忘錄。根據簽署的備忘錄，雙方將進一步推動雙邊關系，加強兩地友好與合作，共同支持和促進兩地全方位互利友好合作關系的發展。丹尼爾森表示，重慶山水秀美，人文厚重，經濟社會發展勢頭強勁。西哥特蘭省很高興與重慶建立友好合作關系，愿進一步深化雙方的交流合作，拓展合作領域，提高合作層次，互學互鑒、互利共贏。

● 李謙與澳大利亞駐成都總領事林明皓舉行工作會談

10月23日，市政府外辦主任李謙與澳大利亞駐成都總領事林明皓舉行工作會談。

李謙表示，重慶市政府外辦重視與澳大利亞駐成都總領事館的合作，希望雙方創新工作互動機制，推動雙方合作取得更大成效。他提議重慶市政府外辦與澳大利亞駐成都總領事館建立合作機制，重點拓展雙邊貿易、延伸南向通道、加強智能制造及智慧城市等領域的合作，全面提升合作水平。

林明皓說，目前的工作計劃有很多方面與李謙主任的提議不謀而合。澳大利亞駐成都總領事館將認真與重慶市政府外辦做好項目謀劃，加強在“一帶一路”框架，特別是“南向通道”建設的合作，共同努力推動重慶和澳大利亞在科技創新、智能技術、飛機直航、農業、教育、文化等領域開展交流與合作。

● 唐文與柬埔寨駐華大使館公使銜參贊鐵弓工作會談

10月19日，市政府外辦副主任唐文在市外事大樓與柬埔寨駐華大使館公使銜參贊鐵弓、柬埔寨駐渝總領事馬瓦納一行3人進行工作會談。

唐文介紹了重慶市經濟社會發展情況，特別介紹了重慶的區位優勢和與東盟國家公路運輸互聯互通的情況，希望與柬埔寨在經貿、旅游、農業等領域加強交流合作。鐵弓表示，重慶是中國西部地區唯一的直轄市，發展勢頭強勁，兩地間的國際公路運輸互聯互通具有很大潛力。為推動兩地間經貿務實合作，搭建合作平臺，柬埔寨將在重慶設立商務中心，并舉辦經貿、旅游專題推介會。唐文對此表示歡迎，愿意積極配合為商務中心的開設提供支持和便利。

● 韓國第四次工業革命委員會委員高晉一行來渝訪問

應我駐韓國大使館邀請，韓國第四次工業革命委員會委員高晉一行8人于10月28日至30日來渝訪問。29日，代表團一行在市科技局了解了重慶智能產業相關發展情況，雙方就重慶市與韓國在智慧城市、智能制造等領域的交流與合作交換了意見。在渝期間，代表團還訪問了重慶超力公司、中科院重慶綠色智能技術研究院等企業與科研機構，考察了WFC與新華國際智慧停車場項目，以及人臉識別、石墨烯等技術的研發和應用情況。

● 法中友協聯合會代表團一行來渝訪問

應全國對外友協的邀請，以阿蘭·拉巴特主席為團長的法中友協聯合會代表團一行7人，于10月15日至19日來渝進行訪問。

法中友協聯合會成立于1993年，該會長期堅持向法國公眾宣傳中國現狀和政策，成為法國地方政府關于中國現狀與國情的咨詢機構。代表團此次訪問重慶，希望能進一步全面了解“一帶一路”建設的深刻內涵，以便更好地在法做友華宣傳工作。

在渝期間，代表團一行拜會了市發展改革委、中新示范項目管理局，考察了仙桃數據谷、西部物流園等，詳細地了解了重慶社會經濟發展狀況，以及重慶在“一帶一路”建設中所發揮的重要作用。

● “輕軌建設者”手印紀念墻廣場向公眾開放

10月31日，日本國駐重慶總領事小松道彥、重慶市人民政府外事辦公室副主任唐文、渝中區副區長鄧光懷及重慶軌道集團負責人等嘉賓在輕軌2號線佛圖關站，共同見證煥然一新的“輕軌建設者”手印紀念墻廣場對市民和游客開放。

這面“輕軌建設者”手印紀念墻及“重慶輕軌建設大事記”紀念碑，于2005年落成，為了紀念重慶第一條軌道交通—輕軌2號線建設者的辛勤付出，包括一批給予寶貴技術支持和參與建設的日本友人。重慶軌道集團負責人介紹，經過兩個月的修繕工作，為市民和游客參觀創造了簡樸而舒適的良好環境。下一步，他們還將在佛圖關站周圍設立指引牌，讓更多重慶的市民和游客來參觀這面見證中日友好合作的手印紀念墻。

The Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government being Inaugurated

On October 25, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government officially unveiled its nameplate, and Vice Mayor Liu Guiping attended the inauguration event and unveiled the plate.

The "Chongqing Municipal Institutional Reform Plan"clarifies that on the basis of the duties of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People"s Government, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government is established as a municipal government body. While retaining the nameplate of the Municipal Government's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, the new office would no longer incorporate the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

Sweden's Gotland Province Governor Anders Danielson Visited Chongqing

From October 23rd to 25th, the Governor of Sweden's Vastra Gotaland County, Anders Danielsson, led a delegation to visit Chongqing. On the afternoon of the 23rd, the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Tang Liangzhi met with Danielsson and his party and signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of friendly ties and cooperation between the two cities and provinces in the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. According to the signed memorandum, the two sides will further promote bilateral relations, strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two places, and jointly support and promote the development of all-round mutually beneficial and friendly relations between the two places. Danielson said that Chongqing has beautiful scenery, rich humanities and strong economic and social development. Gotland is very pleased to establish friendly and cooperative relations with Chongqing, and is also willing to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, expand cooperation areas, improve cooperation levels, learn from each other, and benefit each other.

Li Qian Met Christopher Lim, Australian Consul General in Chengdu

On October 23, Li Qian, Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government, held a working meeting with Mr. Christopher Lim, Consul-General of Consulate General Australia in Chengdu.

Li Qian said that the Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office attaches great importance to the cooperation with the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu and hopes that the two sides will innovate the work interaction mechanism and promote greater cooperation between the two sides. He proposed that the Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office establish a cooperation mechanism with the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu, focusing on expanding bilateral trade, extending the southbound channel,strengthening cooperation in smart manufacturing and smart cities,and comprehensively improving the level of cooperation.

Mr. Lim expressed that there are many aspects of the current work plan coinciding with the proposal of Director Li Qian. The Australian Consulate General in Chengdu will conscientiously plan with the Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office to strengthen the cooperation under the “Belt and Road” framework, especially the “Southbound Passage”, and work together to promote mutual exchange and cooperation in the fields of technological innovation,smart technology, direct flight, agriculture, education and culture.

Tang Wen and the Ambassador of the Cambodian Royal Embassy in China

On October 19th, Tang Wen, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, held a working meeting with the Ambassador& Counsellor of the Cambodian Royal Embassy in China, the Cambodian Consul General in Chongqing and his aide.

Mr Tang Wen introduced the economic and social development of Chongqing, and expounded on the location advantages of Chongqing and the interconnection and intercommunication with ASEAN countries. He hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Cambodia in the fields of economy, trade, tourism and agriculture.According to his Cambodian counterpart, Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government in Western China. The development momentum is strong,and the international road transport interconnection between the two places has great potential. In order to promote economic and trade cooperation between the two places and build a cooperation platform, Cambodia will set up a business center in Chongqing and hold a special promotion conference on economy, trade and tourism.Tang Wen welcomes this move and is willing to actively cooperate to provide support and convenience for the opening of the business center.

South Korea’s National Assembly Special Committee of 4th Industrial Revolution Member Gao Jin and his entourage visited Chongqing

At the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, Member of South Korea’s National Assembly Special Committee of 4th Industrial Revolution, Gao Jin and his party, visited Chongqing from October 28th to 30th. On the 29th, the delegation learned about the development of Chongqing's smart industry in the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. The two sides exchanged views on exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and South Korea in smart cities and smart manufacturing. During the visit, the delegation also visited enterprises and scientific research institutions like Chongqing Chaoli Company,Chongqing Institute of Green&Intelligent Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc., and inspected the WFC and Xinhua International Smart Car Parking project, as well as the development and application of face recognition,graphene and other technologies.

The delegation of the French-Chinese Friendship Association visited Chongqing

At the invitation of the National Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, a delegation of seven members of the Federation of French-Chinese Friendship Association( the Federation des Association Franco-Chinoises) headed by president Alan Labat came to visit from October 15th to 19th.

The French-Chinese Friendship Association was established in 1993. The association has long been publicizing the status quo and policies of China to the French public and becoming the advisory body of the French local government on China's current situation and national conditions. The delegation visited Chongqing this time and hoped to further understand the profound connotation of the construction of the “Belt and Road” in order to better serve in the Chinese-friendly publicity in France.

During the visit, the delegation paid a visit to the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the China-Singapore Demonstration Project Management Bureau, and inspected the Xiantao Data Valley and the Western Logistics Park, and understood in details the social and economic development of Chongqing and the important role played by Chongqing in the construction of “Belt and Road”.

The “Light Rail Builder” Handprint Memorial Wall Square Open to the Public

On October 31st, Mr. Komatsu Michihiko, the Japanese Consul General in Chongqing, Tang Wen,the Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and Deng Guanghuai, the Deputy Director of Yuzhong District,and the heads of the Chongqing Railway Group,witnessed the opening ceremony of the brand-new"Light Rail Builder" handprint memorial wall square open to the public and tourists at the Fotuguan Station of the Light Rail Line 2.

This “light rail builder” handprint commemorative wall and the “Chongqing Light Rail Construction Memorabilia” monument were completed in 2005 to commemorate the hard work of the builders of the fi rst rail transit in Chongqing – Light Rail Line 2,including a group of Japanese who provided valuable technologies and involved in the construction. The person in charge of the Chongqing Railway Group introduced that after two months of repair work, it created a simple and comfortable environment for the citizens and tourists to visit. Their next step is to set up a signboard around the Fotuguan station to let more Chongqing citizens and tourists come to visit the handprint memorial wall witnessing the Sino-Japanese friendly cooperation.
