As one of the highlights of the Fair, the 19th “Humen Cup” International Youth Design (Womens Wear) Contest Final was held. After fierce competition, Chinese player Hu Mingfang won the the first prize.

“Humen Cup” International Youth Design (Womens Wear) Contest, jointly organized by China National Garment Association, China Fashion Association, Guangdong Garment Industry Association, Guangdong Fashion Designers Association, Dongguan Humen Apparel Industry Association, is one highlight of Humen Fashion Week. In this competition, the organizing committee received a total of 3,236 entries from more than ten countries and regions including from Ukraine, Russia, Malaysia, South Korea, Poland, Japan, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy. After the rigorous screening of the preliminary competition, the outstanding works of 30 groups of players from the United Kingdom, France, Ukraine, Chinese Hong Kong, Chinese Taiwan and the Mainland China entered the finals.

In order to reflect the authority of the competition, the finals invited a number of heavyweight judges. And the chief judge was Li Dangqi, the former chairman of the China Fashion Association, professor, doctoral tutor of Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University.

After fierce competition, in the end, Chinese player Hu Mingfangs work won the gold medal. The work of Chinese player Sun Dechun and the German player Cai Hongchengwon the silver medals. the Belgian/Chinese player Kong Yue · Zhi Mingwei, the Chinese player Ye Guoping and the Chinese player Qin Tai won the bronze medals respectively for their works.
