Beijing Opera京劇

There are many different types（類型、種類）of traditional （傳統的）peras in China.Beijing Opera （Peking Opera） is the most famous one.

中國有許多不同類型的傳統戲劇，其中京劇是最著名的一種。

Beijing Opera is a comprehensive（綜合的）performing art. It combines（結合）singing， dialogue， monologue（獨白）， martial arts（武術）， acrobatics（雜技）and mime（啞劇）together.

京劇是一門綜合性的表演藝術。它結合了唱歌、對話、獨白、武術、雜技和啞劇。

There are four types of main（主要的）roles（角色）in Beijing Opera. They are

Roles are classified（分類）by the age and personality（性格）of the characters（人物）.

Facial makeup（臉譜）is very important in Beijing Opera. It shows the roles personality by using different colors. The basic colors used in modern（現代的）Beijing Opera painted faces are red，purple， black， white， blue， green， yellow，pink， gray， gold， and silver.

臉譜在京劇中是非常重要的。它用不同的顏色來表達人物的個性。現代京劇的基本色彩是紅、紫、黑、白、藍、綠、黃、粉、灰、金和銀。

In Beijing Opera， actors must follow many acting rules on stage， such as how to sit down，take a step（邁步），open a door， ride a horse， row（劃）a boat， and so on.

在京劇中，演員必須遵守許多表演規則，比如如何坐下來、如何邁步、開門、騎馬、劃船，等等。
