風箏不斷線

To celebrate the centennial birthday of Mr. Wu Guanzhong， the last Chinese artist master of the 20th century， a variety of events have been held in China， such as the Collections Exhibition themed on “A Kite with an Unbroken String”inaugurated at Beijing Poly Art Museum in March， and the Works Exhibition to commemorate Wu Guanzhong at National Art Museum of China in April， displaying the masters works， theories， experience and thoughts to help people have a better and deeper understanding of the renowned Chinese artist.

3月16日，“風箏不斷線——吳冠中百年誕辰收藏大展”在北京保利藝術博物館開幕，這是此次巡回展覽的第三站。此前，這批作品已先后亮相于三亞、香港兩站。

4月25日，“中國美術館‘典藏活化系列展：風箏不斷線——紀念吳冠中誕辰一百周年作品展”在中國美術館開展，展覽由中國美術館和清華大學共同主辦。

作為對吳冠中百年誕辰的致敬，各種紀念活動或將貫穿整個2019年。被譽為20世紀中國藝術界的最后一位大師，吳冠中理應受到這樣的尊崇。他的經歷、他的作品、他的理論、他的為人、他的思想……當人們越深入地了解他，便會越喜愛他。有別于那些過早離世或高高在上的藝術大師符號，吳冠中的可愛在于他的真實。他是距離中國當代藝術生活最近的一位真實的大師，無論他的藝術還是他的精神世界，都對當今中國藝術界起著不容忽視的影響。
