A lot of people like roses very much,as they are pretty.Some people even grow roses around their houses.

However,paper flowers are so perfect that they are more and more widely used in our daily life.Today,paper flowers can be seen at birthday parties or weddings,as they are not only very nice,but also cost less money.Many young people and children would like todecoratetheir sitting rooms,bedrooms and their offices with paper flowers.

But how to make paper flowers?Let’stakemaking paper rosesfor grantedhere.Before you make paper roses,you need to prepare the following things first.They arecardstockorconstruction paper,a pair of scissors,a pencil or a pen for writing,one pencil forrolling,a ruler andhot glue.

Step 1:Cut your paper into a square.

Any size square will work.Smaller squares,about 7.5 cm or so,will be easier to work with andhandlewhen you’reassemblingthe flower.

Step 2:Draw aspiral on the paper.

Take a pencil and lightly draw a spiral shape starting from theouter edgesof the square of paper.Then simplyfreehanda spiral -the more room in between the lines,the thicker yourpetalswill be.It’s as simple as that.

Step 3:Cut it out and roll it around the tip of a pencil.

Cut along the lines of the spiral,creatingacurly ring of paper.It willnaturallycut off the edges and leave you with onegiantcurly-cue.Then,starting at the very center,roll it around the tipof something small,like a pencil.
