山海薈售樓處位于山海薈整體開發項目中的重要位置，此處視野極佳，可觀山望水，是整個開發項目中一件重要的建筑作品，也是訪客和居民進入別墅區的門戶所在。為了利用這片引人矚目的場地，建筑由六個相互銜接的懸臂構成，從各個方向將美景圍合于其中。

室內圍繞一個自然采光的中央庭院布置，庭院將自然空氣與陽光帶入了建筑，同時為在建筑內部的訪客指明方向，也為未來的博物館展示營造了一條動態的循環路線。

Prominently sited with views of the water and mountains, the YMCI Gallery is a striking design centerpiece,in addition to being a gateway for visitors and residents.The Sales Center provides information and access to the 88 contemporary villas on sale nearby.To take advantage of the spectacular site, the building is composed of a series of six interlocking arms that cantilever out to frame views in each direction.

The interior is organized around a central daylit courtyard that brings nature and sunlight into the building.The courtyard orients visitors as they travel through the building and creates a dynamic circulation path for exhibitions.The Sales Center will eventually become a contemporary art museum, thus magnifying the necessity to create a building of architectural significance.
