常見的v-er or名詞歸類

某些動詞加上后綴-er/-or，通常表示做某事的人，但是，有的除了表示做某事的人之外，還可以表示相關的工具、公司、組織、國家等。如：

第一組

She was a good golfer and tennis player（運動員）.

The CD player（播放器），DVD and even pagers flooded Chinese campuses.

America is not a party to the negotiations， yet it is a key player（參與者）.

Oscar nominations went to all five leading players（演員）.

第二組

He had been sent to Rome by his employer（雇主）.

The telephone company is the countrys largest employer（用人單位）.

第三組

Tobacco companies failed to warn consumers about the dangers of smoker（消費者）.

China is the world's first coal consumer（消費國）.

為便于考生記憶，我們根據名詞的意思，將后綴-er/-or的名詞分成以下三類。

第一類 表示“做……的人”

在高三復習備考中，這類名詞會出現在閱讀文本中或者詞性轉化的一些題目中。如果一味的理解為“做……的人”，句意的理解就可能會出現偏差，因此，考生在做題時要善于根據上下文判定其意思，因為同一個詞在不同的語境中，可能會有不同的意思。
