1. strength n. 力量;強硬;長處

For a small woman she has surprising strength. 她個子雖小，但力大驚人。

【辨析】

strength， power， energy， force都有“力量”的意思：

strength指某人或某物所具有的內在力量，可指體力、力氣或抽象的力量，也表示“強項，長處”。

power可指動力、思維能力等各種力量或能力。如物理學的動力、電力等，也表示“權力，職權”。

energy在物理學定義中為“能，能量”，用于生理學上指“精力”。full of energy“精力充沛”。

force指“武力，力量;軍隊”。
