The people in many countries celebrate the day. Mothers Day is on different days in different countries. In the USA， people celebrate the day on the second Sunday of May. We Chinese also celebrate the day on the second Sunday of May.

How to Celebrate the Special Day

People return home for the day to visit their mothers. Usually， people go home with a gift of “mother cake”， a kind of fruitcake. They also give the cards and other gifts to their mothers. They often write their words to thank their mothers. Mothers will be happy to get the gifts from us.
