《Wonderful City》教學設(shè)計

一、教學目標（含重、難點）

教學目標：

通過本課的學習，學生能夠：

1.正確理解詞匯：million，以及文本中介紹倫敦功能性建筑的篇章大意，了解這些建筑相關(guān)的歷史和文化。

2.在教師的示范與引導(dǎo)下，利用表格梳理這些建筑的功能與特色，并根據(jù)表格信息復(fù)述介紹倫敦特色建筑的文段。

3.根據(jù)表格中補充的北京冬奧滑雪大跳臺信息，用本課所學習的語言表達方式，介紹北京這一地標建筑的功能與特色。

4.接納、包容不同城市的歷史與文化，并增強對所生活城市——北京的認同感、自豪感。

教學重點：

1.學生能夠正確理解文本中介紹倫敦功能性建筑的篇章大意，了解這些建筑相關(guān)的歷史和文化。

2.能在教師的示范與引導(dǎo)下，利用表格梳理這些建筑的功能與特色，并根據(jù)表格信息復(fù)述介紹倫敦特色建筑的文段。

教學難點：

1. 學生能夠在教師的示范與引導(dǎo)下，利用表格梳理本課四個倫敦建筑的功能與特色。

2. 根據(jù)表格信息復(fù)述介紹倫敦特色建筑的文段。

二、教學過程

（一）創(chuàng)設(shè)情境、導(dǎo)入話題

Lead in the topic about London’s famous places.

T：In this class， the black cab will take us to visit four amazing places. Let's start our discovery trip！

【設(shè)計意圖】：創(chuàng)設(shè)情境，引入本課主題。并明確以完成探索任務(wù)，驅(qū)動倫敦出租車在地圖上行駛到目標建筑為評價方式，提升學生學習興趣，創(chuàng)設(shè)真實場景運用語言。

（二）閱讀文章、提取信息

Read the passage about the Brown’s Hotel.

1. Get the information about the Brown’s.

（1） Read the text and find out keys words about the name and function.

（2） Read the text again and find out the key words about the specialty.

（3） Read the text for the third time to find the reason why it is famous.

【設(shè)計意圖】：基于語篇類型的特征，引導(dǎo)學生通過實踐、探究的方式，獲取、梳理語言知識，并初步搭建介紹地點文章的結(jié)構(gòu)框架。

2. Summarize the key information into the table.

【設(shè)計意圖】：基于文章信息，引導(dǎo)學生運用表格有邏輯地整理信息，逐步發(fā)現(xiàn)語言規(guī)律，幫助學生內(nèi)化結(jié)構(gòu)支架，為之后的“半控制型（Semi-Controlled）”學生填表活動打下基礎(chǔ)。

3. Get to know more information about the Brown’s.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過滲透相關(guān)建筑的歷史、文化信息，幫助學生多角度深入了解倫敦，形成跨文化意識。

Read the passage about the Trafalgar Square Post Office.

1. Read the text and find the key words.

【設(shè)計意圖】：從教師引領(lǐng)的閱讀活動，到學生自主閱讀，引導(dǎo)學生通過回答結(jié)構(gòu)支架中的問題，形成有效的學習策略。

Check the answer and match the key words.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過回答關(guān)鍵詞對應(yīng)的問題，幫助學生進一步內(nèi)化、鞏固文章的結(jié)構(gòu)支架，為之后的自主閱讀打下基礎(chǔ)。

3. Summarize the key words into the table.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過完成表格，進一步強化對結(jié)構(gòu)支架的理解。

4. Get to know more information about the Trafalgar Square Post Office by discussing the usage of stickers stamps and observing the pictures.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過對比貼畫郵票和普通郵票的區(qū)別，發(fā)展學生評價的思維能力。并拓展倫敦的相關(guān)地標知識，豐富學生的文化體驗。

Read the passages about the Heathrow Airport and the New Scotland Yard.

1. Read the passages by themselves. Write down the key words in the table.

【設(shè)計意圖】：說明閱讀步驟，引導(dǎo)學生自主閱讀，強調(diào)劃取關(guān)鍵詞，形成有效的學習策略。

2. Check the answer and learn the new word ‘million’ in the text about the Heathrow Airport.

3. Feel how huge and busy the Heathrow Airport is by watching the video.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過為明信片選取題目，檢測學生是否正確理解文段。通過將數(shù)字可視化，讓學生更好地理解Million的含義，并通過觀看圖片和視頻進一步理解Heathrow Airport的規(guī)模與繁忙。

4. Check the answer and get to know more about the New Scotland Yard by watching videos.

【設(shè)計意圖】：通過閱讀關(guān)鍵詞選取明信片，檢測學生是否正確理解文段。并通過填寫表格、觀看視頻，理解、內(nèi)化、感受New Scotland Yard。

（三）運用信息，介紹建筑

Introduce the places by using the table.

1. Get the language about how to introduce a place.

2. Introduce the Trafalgar Square Post Office.

3. Choose one from the Heathrow Airport and the New Scotland Yard to introduce.

4. Try to introduce the Beijing Big Air Ski Platform.

三、本教學設(shè)計與以往或其他教學設(shè)計相比的特點

本節(jié)課是一節(jié)基于核心素養(yǎng)培養(yǎng)目標下的高年級英語閱讀課，旨在提升語言能力的基礎(chǔ)上，發(fā)展學生的思維品質(zhì)，提升學生的文化品格與文化自信，培育他們的愛國情懷。

1. 搭設(shè)結(jié)構(gòu)“支架”，化繁為簡;利用語言“支架”，化簡為繁。

2. 創(chuàng)設(shè)真實語言情境，培養(yǎng)語言能力，發(fā)展思維品質(zhì)。

3. 培育文化意識，堅定文化自信，增強國家認同。
