1 草圖 Sketch

在城市更新大背景下，靠近設計事務所進行了一次大膽嘗試，我們希望存量建筑更新不再只是停留于常規的立面改造與內部裝修，而是思考類似的老舊建筑除了成為特定功能的新建筑外，是否還能為城市日常生活帶來更多貢獻，釋放更多公共價值？本次設計旨在探索建筑與城市日常生活之間的另一種可能性，并希望能為城市更新提供一種新的參考范式。

原派出所平面為“F”形，撐滿了狹小的長方形用地。面對局促的場地和擁擠乏味的街道，設計提出“折疊公園”概念，將傳統平面公園進行多次“折疊”后，以類似“腳手架”的方式貼合于“F”形建筑的邊界空白處。“公園”中設置了滑梯、秋千、吊床、拳擊袋等一系列有趣設施，并可隨時“插接”新的設施，伴隨人們的活動“自由生長”。

我們說服業主將“公園”對市民開放，使建筑與城市之間那條原本僅用于劃分領地范圍的“紅線”，成為人人共享的“活力觸發帶”，連同屋頂劇場和空中跑道一起成為社區中最受歡迎的地方。

建筑立面覆以鏡面材料，消隱了建筑的實體感，讓變化的環境和人們的活動成為建筑最生動的“表情”，原本局促的空間也在反射中被無限延展。建筑內部空間被盡可能打開，豎向交通被重新建構，大量空間被賦予多重屬性，旨在創造盡可能多的、讓人們相互遇見的機會。

In the context of urban renewal,our firm,Approach Design Studio,has made a bold attempt.We hope that the stock building renewal will no longer just stay in the conventional fa?ade renovation and interior decoration:we want to find out whether this kind of old buildings can bring more contributions to urban daily life and release greater public value in addition to being regarded as new buildings with specific functions.This design aims to explore another possibility between architecture and the daily life of the city,and hopefully provides a new paradigm for urban renewal.

The original police station was an "F" shaped flat layout,occupying a narrow rectangular area.In the face of cramped grounds and crowded yet boring streets,this design proposes the concept of "folding park",which attaches the traditional flat park with multiple "folding" to the blank area of the "F" shaped building boundary in a manner similar to "scaffolding".The "park" has a series of interesting facilities such as slides,swings,hammocks,boxing bags,etc.,and new facilities can be "plugged in" at any time to satisfy people's growing needs for activities.We have persuaded the owners into opening the "park" to the public,so that the "red line" between the building and the city,which was originally used only to declare the territorial scope,would become a "vitality trigger" for everyone,and together with the rooftop theatre and the sky track,it has become the most popular place in the community.

The fa?ade of the building is covered with reflective materials,which obscures the physical sense of the building,making the changing environment and people's activities the most vivid expression of the building,and the original cramped space is infinitely extended in the reflection.The interior spaces of the building are opened as much as possible,the vertical traffic is reconstructed,and a large number of spaces are given multiple attributes,aiming to create as many opportunities as possible for people to meet each other.

中國的大部分一線城市進入了由“量”到“質”的時期，大家都在探討城市更新的最新、最有啟發性的做法。該作品呈現出從一個原來對普通市民封閉的管理機構到一個向普通市民開放、擁抱多種生活可能性的微社區的轉變，這無疑是一個非常感人的題材。更可貴的是，建筑師在對原來建筑進行輕觸干預的基礎之上，增添了很多接近人體尺度的空間層次和體驗。我們期待看到更多把公共空間帶到每一個人身邊、提升人們日常生活空間質量的作品出現。

Jury Statement

The majority of China's first-tier cities have entered a "quality-oriented" period following the "quantity-targeted" age.Everyone is discussing the latest and most enlightening approaches to urban renewal.The project presents the transformation from a government institution that was closed to ordinary citizens to a microcommunity that is open to the general public and embraces the many possibilities of life,which is undoubtedly a very heart-warming subject.It is valuable that based on light intervention to the original building,the architect added many spatial levels and experiences that reflect the scale of the human body.We look forward to seeing more works that bring public space to everyone and improve the quality of people's daily life spaces.□(Translated by Dandan Wang)
