Review on The Founding of a Republic

The 20th CPC National Congress is about to be held.For the sake of celebrating the 20th CPC National Congress,I watched a revolutionary film calledThe Founding of a Republicwith my family which touched me deeply.

The film is not only very pictorial,but also has unique characters.And one of my favorite is Wen Yiduo.I’ll never forget his passionate（激昂的）speech after the death of Li Gongpu,which touched me a lot.It makes me realize that the communists are righteous.They are the armies of the people indeed,fighting to liberate people from suffering and they are ready to sacrifice everything.When I saw that Wen Yiduo was assassinated（暗殺）for encouraging people,I could not help crying.I admire his spirit of unwavering determination(堅(jiān)定的決心).

Friendship and sincerity of the communists are everywhere in the film.They always sit on the soft mounds in the countryside when having meetings,bathing in the warm sunshine,and discuss things warmly just like a family.Moreover,communists are positive and tenacious(頑強(qiáng)的).No matter how dangerous the environment is,they can always be upbeat and go forward bravely.And I think they are strong enough to defeat the powerful enemy.Therefore,we can see that the productivity of today’s rural areas increases quickly under the leadership of the household contract responsibility system(家庭聯(lián)產(chǎn)承包責(zé)任制).At the same time,the rural scenery has also become very picturesque(優(yōu)美如畫).What’s more,township enterprises(鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)企業(yè))flourish particularly,and farmers’ living standards are improving day by day.

At the end of the film,when Mao Zedong announced the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the Central People’s Government at Tian’anmen Square,all the people cheered loudly for the newborn country.I was also very excited and shocked.How much sacrifice was paid behind such great success!

Nowadays,under the leadership of the CPC,our lives are getting better and better.People had only very little foods and clothes at old times and life was so harsh.Nowadays not only have we built a moderately prosperous society（小康社會(huì)）,but also many of Chinese technologies are cutting-edge,such as supercomputers,highspeed rail and the aperture synthesis radiotelescope（綜合孔徑射電望遠(yuǎn)鏡）“sky-eye”.

As teenagers,we should study hard and contribute our very best to achieve a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation（中華民族偉大復(fù)興）.As the saying goes,“Actions speak louder than words.” Let’s live up to the expectations of the CPC,and welcome the 20th CPC National Congress with our practical deeds!
