袁家軍胡衡華會見部分國家駐華使節代表團

On March 21， Yuan Jiajun， Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， and Hu Henghua， Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Chongqing， had a meeting in Chongqing with representatives of diplomatic envoys in China.

High-level diplomats from 26 countries and regions in Europe， Africa， and Asia attended the meeting， including Albania， Luxembourg， Mauritania， Mali， Slovenia， Guinea-Bissau， Algeria， Yemen， Lesotho， Sudan， Botswana， Guinea， and Malta， among which 13 were ambassadors to China. Wu Hongbo， Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs， Li Mingqing， Deputy Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， and other city leaders， including Luo Lin and Zhang Guozhi， attended the meeting.

Yuan Jiajun， on behalf of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chongqing Municipal Government， extended a warm welcome to the diplomatic envoys and presented Chongqings economic and social development. Yuan noted that Chongqing is the only municipality directly reporting to the central government in central and western China， enjoying outstanding advantages in its location. It is a strategically important place with complete categories of industries， thus playing a unique and vital role in Chinas regional development and opening up endeavors.

Currently， Chongqing is fully implementing the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and President Xi Jinpings important instructions and requirements for Chongqing. By building Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region， we are promoting the development of the megacity of Chongqing and facilitating the integrated development of villages， mountainous areas， and the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. We are building a new Chongqing of socialist modernization in all respects， pursuing ecology-first and green development to forge an important driver for high-quality national growth.

The modern industrial system is under construction， with two industrial clusters， each worth over one trillion yuan， namely NEV and ICV industry and Electronic Information Manufacturing. Progress is speeding up in industrial upgrades， structure optimization， and improvement in both quality and efficiency. Efforts will be intensified to promote scientific and technological innovation as well as the coordinated development of education， science and technology， and talent. Chongqing prioritizes industrial innovation and continues to foster new growth drivers. We are redoubling efforts to improve peoples life， accelerating the building of infrastructures like transportation， and enhancing public services such as healthcare， thus ensuring a greater sense of gains， happiness， security， and recognition.

All the progress will not be secured without reform and opening up. On the way forward， therefore， we will be more closely centered around reform and opening up. Chongqing is fully integrated into the Belt and Road cooperation and the Yangtze Economic Belt and accelerates the development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. We have been focusing on building an all-round， multi-level， and wide-ranging opening-up paradigm， improving the development of the open economy， and speeding up exploring new horizons of opening up in Chongqing. This visit is an excellent opportunity to deepen pragmatic cooperation in economy， trade， industry， culture， education， and tourism， deepen friendship， and create a better future for all.

H.E. Selim Belortaja， chief of the delegation and the Ambassador of Albania to China， highly appreciated the warm hospitality and congratulated Chongqing on its remarkable economic and social development achievements. He noted they were glad to visit Chongqing， a modern metropolis full of vitality after the COVID-19 pandemic. Ambassadors saw the harmonious pictures between humans and nature with their own eyes and felt the unlimited potential of Chongqings development. As a hub， Chongqing is essential in advancing the Belt and Road cooperation. Together with all delegates， he is willing to continue to promote Chongqing， deepen exchanges in various fields， and bring practical cooperation to a new height.

Wu Hongbo thanked the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and the Chongqing Municipal Government for the extraordinary arrangement and thoughtful reception for this visit to Chongqing. He noted that this is the first visit of diplomatic envoys in China to visit places outside of Beijing after the successful 20th CPC National Congress and the two sessions in 2023， which is of great and far-reaching significance. Chongqing is a charming city with excellent talent， a rich cultural heritage， and a long history of revolutionary efforts. In recent years， achievements in economic and social development in Chongqing have been impressive. It is hoped that the delegates could gain a deeper understanding of Chinas firm resolution to promote reform and opening up and share development dividends and opportunities by seeing the modernization efforts of Chongqing. Diplomatic envoys were expected to promote Chongqing to the world and advance the cooperation between Chongqing and other countries for more fruitful outcomes.

3月21日，市委書記袁家軍，市委副書記、市長胡衡華會見了來渝訪問的部分國家駐華使節代表團。

來自歐洲、非洲、亞洲的阿爾巴尼亞、盧森堡、毛里塔尼亞、馬里、斯洛文尼亞、幾內亞比紹、阿爾及利亞、也門、萊索托、蘇丹、博茨瓦納、幾內亞、馬耳他等26個國家和地區的高級別外交官參加，其中駐華大使13位。中國政府歐洲事務特別代表吳紅波，市委副書記李明清，市領導羅藺、張國智參加。

袁家軍代表市委、市政府歡迎各位使節來渝訪問，介紹了重慶經濟社會發展有關情況。袁家軍說，重慶是中國中西部地區唯一的直轄市，區位優勢突出、戰略地位重要、產業門類齊全，在國家區域發展和對外開放格局中具有獨特而重要的作用。當前，我們正全面貫徹落實中共二十大精神，認真落實習近平主席對重慶的重要指示要求，以成渝地區雙城經濟圈建設為總抓手總牽引，以超大城市發展帶動鄉村、山區、庫區融合發展，堅持生態優先、綠色發展，全面建設社會主義現代化新重慶，全力打造帶動全國高質量發展的重要增長極和新的動力源。積極構建現代化產業體系，打造智能網聯新能源汽車和電子信息制造兩大萬億級產業集群等，加快產業升級、結構優化、質效提升步伐。大力推動科技創新，統籌推進教育、科技、人才工作，把創新著力點放在產業創新上，不斷塑造發展新動能新優勢。全力提高生活品質，持續加快交通等基礎設施建設，提升醫療衛生等公共服務水平，讓人民群眾有更多的獲得感、幸福感、安全感和認同感。重慶的發展得益于改革開放，未來的發展有賴于改革開放。我們全面融入共建“一帶一路”和長江經濟帶發展，加快建設陸海新通道等，著力構建全方位、多層次、寬領域對外開放格局，提升開放型經濟發展水平，加快建設內陸開放高地。愿以各位使節此訪為契機，深化與各國在經貿、產業、文化、教育、旅游等領域的務實合作，進一步增進友誼，共創美好未來。
