Hu Henghua Meeting with Tan Kiat How， Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore

On September 3， Hu Henghua， Deputy Secretary of CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Chongqing Municipal Government met with the delegation led by Tan Kiat How， Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore. Tan Kiat How came to Chongqing to attend the Smart China Expo 2023.

On behalf of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chongqing Municipal Government， Hu Henghua warmly welcomed Tan Kiat How and his delegation to the Smart China Expo 2023. Hu Henghua noted that Chongqing will implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during their meeting this year， deepen cooperation in the China-Singapore （Chongqing） Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity together with Singapore， strengthen the building of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor （ILSTC）， and make new contributions to the China-Singapore relations. He hoped that both countries will actively promote the implementation of a series of key signature projects with a focus on the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-Hub Mega-Region， boost exchanges and cooperation in economy， trade， industry， finance， and logistics along the ILSTC， and constantly deepen practical cooperation in various fields including scientific and technological innovation， education， healthcare and TOD program， and securing greater achievements in China-Singapore （Chongqing） Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity.

Tan Kiat How expressed that Singapore will firmly support the building of the ILSTC， foster sustained growth in the China-Singapore （Chongqing） Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity， strengthen cooperation in intelligent mobility， and green and sustainable development， and share development opportunities to create a better future.

Relevant officials from Singapore and Chongqing Municipal Government attended the meeting.

胡衡華代表市委、市政府，歡迎陳杰豪一行來渝出席2023智博會。胡衡華說，重慶將認真落實今年習近平主席會見李顯龍總理時達成的重要共識，同新方一道深化中新互聯互通項目合作，加強陸海新通道建設，為中新關系發展作出新貢獻。希望雙方圍繞成渝地區雙城經濟圈建設，積極推動一批重大標志性項目落地，加強陸海新通道經貿、產業、金融、物流等交流合作，持續深化科技創新、教育、醫療健康、TOD項目等方面務實合作，推動中新互聯互通項目取得更大成果。

陳杰豪表示，我們將堅定支持陸海新通道建設，進一步推動中新互聯互通項目走深走實，加強雙方在智能出行、綠色可持續發展等方面合作，共享發展機遇，共創美好未來。
