Imagine you are tired after a challenging week at school.You have got lots of homework and only a few hours of free time.What would you do?

It is often hard to get up and keep moving when we feel tired.However,these days,we spend a lot of time sitting and studying.While our brains are tired,our bodies are not necessarily as tired as we think.

We all know that physical exercise is good for our bodies.It helps us keep a healthy weight and can prevent us from getting ill.Exercise is good for our minds too.When we exercise,our brains produce chemicals called endorphins,which enhance our mood and make us happy.

Exercise also gives us various opportunities that improve our sense of well-being.We get the chance to meet and interact with both our old and new friends.We can play as part of a team and feel valued.

Don’t worry if you are not a sporty person.Even a little bit of gentle exercise can uplift your spirits.You can walk or cycle to school instead of taking the bus.Do stretches in the morning or meet a friend at the park for a fun game.You don’t have to be a good athlete to get the benefits of exercise!
