從兩道高考題談ｉｔ的用法

今年高考湖南卷第26題：As the busiest women in Northon，she made——her duw to look after all the otherpeople's affairs in that town．．

所給答案：A．this B．that C．one D．it

最佳選項為D．此題考查it在句中作形式賓語代替后置的不定式短語的作用。

2001年高考全國卷第25題：The Parkers bought a newhouse but——will need a lot of work before they canmore in．

所給選選項：A they B．it C．one D．which．

最佳選項為B，本題考查it在句中用作主語。為人稱代詞，代替前文的new house的作用。

英語中的代詞多性多格、多搭配，學生在運用中易受母語中文的影響，很難掌握，綜觀歷屆高考題，通常測試考生對代詞的全面掌握和靈活運用，因此，在教學中，幫助學生歸納、演繹其在句子中的成分和句型中的搭配，并進行有針對性的精講、精練，使學生在理解的基礎上運用、掌握，筆者從多年的教學體驗中證明行之有效。如代詞it的用法就是如此進行的。

一、人稱代詞it用來指剛提及的物體、動物或前文中的從句或情況。如：

1、I’ve just bought a new car．It cost me almost all mysavings．

2、Look at the cat．It looks lovely．

3、He appeared from behind the door and it gave mea great surprise．

但在上下對話的答句中，祈使句或反駁性的陳述句中，當句中的謂語動詞是know，forget，remember，try，tell等詞時常不用it’如：

——Be sure t0 tell him about that when you go home．

——Don't worry．I won't forget/I’ll remember／．I know．

二、非人稱代詞it在句中用作主語時表時間、天氣、距離及一般的情況等．如：

1、It is years since I enjoyed myself so much．

2、Will it be still hot tomorrow?

3、Itis only half an hour's walk to my home from here．

4、Why is it so noisy outside?

三、指示代詞it在句中特指某人或某物。

1、－Who’s over there?

—It’s the teaehers arguing about something．

2、Who is it?

－It’s me．

3、Is it the book you bought yesterday?

四、虛詞it的用法。

1、在句中作形式主語或形式賓語，如：

1)II is wrong to waste lime．

2)Il is no use quakelling with such a person．

3)Don't take il for granted that he’ll listen to you．

4)Hi-tech has made it easier for us to work than before．

2、在強調句型“lt he……that(who)”中引導句中被強調的成分，如：

1)Il is you thm(who)ale helpful to me in my Englishstudy．

2)Is it teaehm’g thai you like?

3)When and where was il she was born?

五、習慣表達中的it在句中雖然作賓語。但無確定的意義，如：

1、Keep it up／Stick to il and you'll make your way．

2、Shall we walk it there together after sch00l?

通過典型性的句型變化，尤其是歷屆高考題的練習，比較it與其他易混代詞的用法更能加深學生對it用法的印象，進一步強化對該詞的理解運用和掌握，如：
