Alizée was not even 16 when her first song，Moi... Lolita was released. The day the young girl met the Mylène Farmer was a real turning point in her life and the result of this meeting was Gourmandises， her first album.

2 years later， over 4 million records were sold in the world and Alizée also received several awards（獎項）—NRJ awards， World Music Awards， M6 awards， and other European awards.

Her songs reached the top of the Italian， Spanish， German， British， Polish， Dutch and Russian charts....and often held the No. 1 slot for many weeks.

Her second album Mes Courants Electriques， is also written and produced by Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat. Mes Courants Electriques has been released in France on 18th March 2003.

Alizée was born on the coast of Corsica on 21st August. Her childhood on the island was a happy one.

Passionate（對……有熱情的）about dance， she began lessons at the age of 4 and became increasingly drawn to show business through her acting and singing lessons.

At the age of 11， she entered a drawing competition by colouring in an airplane and won first prize. Not only did she win a trip to the Maldives， but a life-size reproduction of her drawing was also featured on the cockpit of an airplane which was to be named“Alizée”. This was the beginning of a wonderful， artistic career（職業）.

Alizée was born August 21， 1984， in Ajaccio， Corsica. She began to take dance lessons at the age of 5 and soon added drama and voice instruction to her performance. Her parents entered her in the competition of Star Search later on in life and Alizée won the studio and television audience over with an interpretation of a big radio hit in France at the time.

The performance led to an audition to record Moi... Lolita in 2000 in front of pop star Mylène Farmer and producer Laurent Boutonnat. The two was glad with the presence of the young girl and after a callback， a contract（合同） was signed.

The song Moi... Lolita went on to become one of the top selling singles in recent chart history. Alizée had become an overnight pop success. After several months， Alizée recorded the album“Gourmandises”， written by Farmer from the point of view of a teenage girl going through typical adolescent（青年人的） growing pains.

The album proved to be hot on the heels of Moi... Lolita， went platinum in France in just three months. The next single L’Alize， released after the album， also achieved major sale success in her native country and abroad.

Having established herself in France， Germany and the Netherlands， Alizée went international in 2001， with Gourmandises being released to greater Europe， including Russia， as well as Canada and Japan.

Alizée won France’s most promising newcomer award at both the M6 Music Awards and the NRJ Music Awards. She also had the Best Music Website honor at the NRJ Music Awards. Upcoming projects include another album and perhaps film work.

Alizée herself has stated an interest in playing a romantic lead or even a Bond girl in the future.
