Ｆｏｒｔｙ－Ｓｉｘｔｈ Ａｎｎｉｖｅｒｓａｒｙ ｏｆ Ｔｒｅａｔｙ ｏｆ Ｆｒｉｅｎｄｓｈｉｐ，Ｃｏｏｐｅｒａｔｉｏｎ ａｎｄ Ｍｕｔｕａｌ Ａｓｓｉｓｔａｎｃｅ Ｂｅｔｗｅｅｎ Ｃｈｉｎａ ａｎｄ

The CPAFFC and the China-Korea (DPRK) Friendship Association (CKFA) jointly held a reception at the auditorium of the CPAFFC to mark the 46th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship， Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Between China and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on July 9. DPRK Ambassador to China Choe Jin Su， CKFA President Li Shuzheng and CPAFFC Vice President Feng Zuoku attended the reception.

In her speech， Li Shuzheng said the Treaty of Friendship， Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Between China and the DPRK has successfully stood the tests of volatile international situation in the past 46 years and made important contributions to maintaining regional stability and promoting regional development， showing its strong vitality in maintaining the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK. Both countries have upheld the spirit of the Treaty in strengthening unity and friendship and developing cooperation， which not only enhances the overall development of the bilateral relations and continuously pushes forward the cause of socialist construction in both countries， but also plays an important role in safeguarding peace in Asia and the world. The recent years have witnessed frequent exchange of visits and communications between high-ranking leaders of China and the DPRK， which has further enhanced mutual understanding and friendship between the two governments and peoples. The friendship between China and the DPRK is the precious common wealth of the two peoples， and the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government will stick to their consistent policy of continuously consolidating and developing the friendly cooperative relationship with the DPRK.

Ambassador Choe Jin Su said， he was very pleased to see China’s outstanding achievements in its modernization drive and rising international status. Although faced with certain difficulties， the people of the DPRK will also strive to strengthen national defence and upgrading their living standards. The DPRK has always insisted on strengthening the traditional friendship with China and is willing to make every effort to further broaden consensus with China and develop the bilateral relations.
