故事梗概：在未來(lái)世界，經(jīng)基因工程孕育的人是正常人，而自然分娩的則是“病人”。文森特就是一個(gè)病人，而其弟安東則是正常人。文森特癡迷于太空，但遭遇基因歧視而無(wú)法進(jìn)入太空部門(mén)Gattaca，于是他鋌而走險(xiǎn)，借用具有優(yōu)秀基因卻下身癱瘓的杰羅姆的身份。但一起謀殺案讓文森特成為嫌疑對(duì)象，而一探員似乎清楚其真實(shí)身份。最后，謀殺案水落石出。文森特發(fā)現(xiàn)這名探員正是安東。在弟弟的勸說(shuō)下，他決定不再作假，不過(guò)最終善良的檢測(cè)人員還是讓他順利升上太空。
