The Great Duck Race

鴨子快游！

There are several big duck races held around the world. In these events， people buy a duck (\"Adopt-a-Duck\") and put their name on it. Then all the ducks are thrown into the river and the first duck across the downstream (下游的) line is the winner. The money raised from selling the ducks goes to charity (慈善).

The Great Singapore Duck Race is one of the biggest， with 85，000 rubber ducks taking to the Singapore River.

In September 2007， The Great British Duck Race on the River Thames smashed the Guinness World Record (吉尼斯世界紀錄) for the \"World's Biggest Charity Duck Race，\" with 165，000 ducks， beating the previous record by the Singapore Event which raced 123，500 ducks in 2001.

Stacking

The sport of stacking involves stacking and unstacking a pile of 12 cups in different sequences (順序). To complete in the World Sport Stacking Championship， you need quick hands and an eagle eye. The competition involves racing against the clock， and there are also competitions in doubles and relay teams.

Lawn Mower Racing

This sport is not trivial (不重要的)—there are regional and national associations all over America and others around the world that hold regular race meetings using a ride-on mower (割草機) as the vehicle. And I don't think you will find much grass around the race tracks.
