如何有效地進行單詞教學

【摘要】單詞教學是一個值得廣大英語教師深入研究和探討的問題。為此,很多英語教師都在進行各種各樣具有教學實際意義的嘗試。以自己的做法和想法探索英語課堂詞匯教學方法的創新,旨在激發對這一問題的新的思考。

【Abstract】To quite many English teachers vocabulary teaching is very thorny.But it is also not to be neglected in English teaching. How can get the students to grasp the certain vocabulary effectively, and enable the students to use the vocabulary in preliminary Application English carries on the human relations?In order to make the students grasp the words fast and reliably. After several year time fumbles and attempt,I have got some understanding of the vocabulary teaching methods and the mentality, accumulated certain experience. Here I discuss slightly two aspects with English teaching colleagues:

詞匯、語法、語篇是英語語言的三大要素。能記憶并熟練掌握和運用單詞,是檢驗英語學習效果的重要標志之一。然而對于剛進入初中的學生來說隨著學習內容的深入和詞匯量的不斷增大由于記不住、遺忘快、效果差,他們會感到力不從心從而束手無策,影響了學習英語的興趣,也給今后聽說和閱讀理解能力的訓練帶來很大的困難。

因此,對很多的英語教師來說詞匯教學是很棘手的。但在英語教學中又不可忽視。那么如何才能有效地讓學生識記一定的詞匯,進而運用詞匯使學生能初步應用英語進行交際的目的呢?為了使學生快速而又牢固地掌握單詞,我經過十幾年時間的摸索和嘗試,對詞匯教學的方法和思路有了一些認識,積累了一定的經驗。在這里略談二點與廣大英語教學同仁交流:

首先.采用靈活的方法教單詞。

學生的學習興趣與教師的教學方法有密切的關系,因此,在英語教學中,首先要改進和探索詞匯教學的方法。

在教授記憶單詞方法時,由于剛進入中學的學生往往缺少行之有效的方法。急于記寫法,而且很多人是一個字母一個字母的記,寫法好不容易記住了,卻連有的單詞都不會讀。……
