動不動 dòng bú dòngMeans: Easily. This phrase means someone is easily inclined to do something.Example:老板動不動就對別人橫加指責，氣勢逼人。lǎo bǎn dòng bú dòng jiù duì bié rén hēng jiā zhǐ zé， qì shì bī rén.The boss is always making unwarranted accusations against others. His manner is intolerably aggressive.放冷箭 fàng lěng jiànMeans: Stab in the back. Used as a metaphor to refer to playing tricks behind somebody’s back， or secretly getting somebody into trouble.Example:卑怯而狡猾的懦夫往往想暗中放冷箭。bēi qiè ér jiǎo huá dē nuò fū wǎng wǎng xiǎng àn zhōng fàng lěng jiàn.Base and crafty cowards， are like the arrow that shoots in the dark.吃不消 chī bù xiāoMeans: Can’t bear. Keep calm in mind or be steady in abnormal situation.Examples:他一看到賬單的數字就沉不住氣了。tā yī kàn dào zhàng dān de shù zì jìu chén zhù qì le.He almost lost control of himself when he saw the size of the bill.打保票 dǎ bǎo piàoMeans: Vouch for somebody. Guarantee something before the result.Example:我敢打保票，他不是干那種事的人。wǒ gǎn dǎ bǎo piào， tā bú shì gàn nàzhǒng shì de rén.I guarantee that he is not the type of person who would do such a thing.頂呱呱 dǐng guā guāMeans: First-rate. The quality ofgoods or performance is excellent or extremely good.Example:在所有員工中，她是頂呱呱的一個。zài suǒ yǒu yuán gōng zhōng， tā shìdǐng guā guā de yī gè.She is second to none among all the staff.出點子 chū diǎn zǐMeans: Offer advice. Think of solutions; make suggestions.Example:大家一起出點子，或許能想出辦法。dà jiā yī qǐ chū diǎn zǐ， huò x? néng xiǎng chū bàn fǎ.Let’s brain-storm about it， and we may work out a solution.幫倒忙 bāng dào mángMeans: Be more of a hindrance than a help. Do someone a disservice. This phrase refers to a person who tries to perform good deeds or to help others but causes more trouble in the process.Example:他確實是想幫忙，但事實上卻是幫倒忙。tā què shí shì xiǎng bāng máng， dàn shì shí shàng què shì bāng dào máng.No doubt he means to help， but in fact he just gets in the way.不買賬 bù mǎi zhàngMeans: Not buy it. Be unwilling to accept someone’s authority or advantage; not go for it.Example:房子降價了，可消費者還是不買賬。fáng zi jiàng jià le， kě xiāo fèi zhěhái shì bù mǎi zhàng.Though the house price has fallen down， customers still won’t go for it.不認賬 bù rèn zhàngMeans: Go back on one’s word. Refuse to acknowledge a debt (or an account); refuse to admit what one has said or done.Example:自己說的話，怎么不認賬？zì jǐ shuō de huà， zěn me bù rèn zhàng?How can you go back upon your word?
