The little pups， pictured at only three days old， have to fight one another off to make sure they get their fair share of milk.

To make sure none of them are left without food， their owner， Gabriela lets another mom Great Dane（大丹犬）help to feed the babies.

Their tired mother and the babies， eight boys and nine girls， take up the whole ground floor of their owner’s house which is located in Warsaw（華沙）， Poland.

Skydiving wasn’t enough for Ludwig Fichte， he fell 4，300 meters in a rubber boat in 31.5 seconds while solving Rubik’s Cube（魯比克魔方）.

Fichte， from Dresden in Germany， said， “Solving the cube in free fall has been done before， but I am the first to do it in a rubber boat.”

Now， Fichte wants to do it again—compete with another man sitting in the boat or solve two cubes in a row（連續）.

One day Nick and Jane met in a garden. They were best friends and were studying in the same school in the same class.

When they were both playing in the garden， Jane saw a black band tied on the wrist（手腕）of Nick. She asked him the reason for wearing that band. Nick replied， “My mother tied it so that I won’t forget to post an important letter.”

Jane asked， “But where is the letter? ”

Nick searched for it everywhere. Then he remembered that his mother had forgotten to give him the letter.

One day， the phone rang， and a little boy answered.

“May I speak to your parents?”

“They’re busy.”

“Oh. Is anybody else there?”

“The police.”

“Can I speak to them?”

“They’re busy.”

“Oh. Is anybody else there?”

“The firemen.”

“Can I speak to them?”

“They’re busy.”

“So let me get this straight—your parents， the police， and the firemen are there， but they’re all busy? What are they doing?”

“Looking for me.”

A composition titled My Father is a Panda written by 12-year-old Zhang Lintong， a first-year junior high school girl from Henan Province， was popular on the Internet. The composition was bought by a foreign art collector for 100，000 yuan.

This composition， more than 1，000 words in length， attracted Uli Sigg， the former Swiss ambassador（大使） to China and an international collector. He bought it during the “Commonweal Art Auction Exhibition（公益愛心藝術拍賣展覽）”held at the Henan Art Gallery.

All money from the auction of the exhibition will be used to set up a rest home for the elderly and orphans（孤兒） on the banks of Yellow River.

Zhang is a first-year junior high school student at a private secondary school in Zhengzhou. Zhang and her classmates learned of the news of the rest home and the creative works regarding pandas during their weekend painting class.Therefore， they decided to take part in the composition.

“At first， I wanted to draw pictures. However， many people would draw pictures， and I wanted to be different from others. I also made a panda sculpture， but my father said it did not look like a panda.” Zhang said.

Zhang also said during the exhibition that she finally decided to write the composition because a flash of intuition（直覺） came to her mind.
