“抑郁癥”戀上媒體精英

Dying at an early age is a key word most talked in the news report on passing away of the media people in the first half of this year.

On May 4th， Xu Xing， deputy edit in chief of Urban Express， was only 35 years old when his committing suicide. As a leader of new media projects of the Paper， he suffered from long-time sleeplessness and depression prior to his suicide.

On May 6th， He Weixing， deputy TV director of Xiangxiang TV， hanged himself at the office staircase， with his suicide note reading word of “pains after pains”， “industry always but getting nowhere”， “mountainous work stress”.

Early in the morning on May 8th， Zhang Jingwu， general manager of Shenzhen Press Group Circulation and Logistics Co.，Ltd.， died of serious depression.

“英年早逝”是今年上半年在媒體人離世的新聞報道中頻頻被使用的一個關(guān)鍵詞。

5月4日，都市快報副總編徐行自殺離世，時年僅35歲。作為都市快報新媒體項目的領(lǐng)軍人，徐行自殺前曾長期失眠，患有抑郁癥。

5月6日，湘鄉(xiāng)市廣播電視臺副臺長賀衛(wèi)星在辦公室樓梯間上吊自殺，留下的遺書里有“痛、痛、痛”、“勤勤懇懇，一事無成，工作壓力巨大”的字眼。

5月8日凌晨，深圳報業(yè)發(fā)行物流公司總經(jīng)理張敬武，因患嚴(yán)重抑郁癥不幸離世。

Media elites seem to fall in grips of depression in a row. In this case， we can’t help but reflecting on what the final straw really is to break them down while regretting with enormous sorrows to them. Andrew Solomon says， “The antonym of depression is not happiness but dynamism”.

“When we come upon the stage， a myriad of stress from our family and work falls upon our shoulders increasingly all at once， which entirely differs from pressure of schooling in our adolescence. Therefore， the period between 35 and 45 years old is salient for depression. ” Tao Ran told the reporter.

媒體精英似乎接連掉入了“抑郁癥”的魔爪，在扼腕痛惜的同時，不禁讓人反思對媒體從業(yè)者而言，究竟是什么成為壓垮他們的最后一根稻草？安德魯·所羅門說：“抑郁的反義詞不是快樂，而是活力。”

“進入社會后，來自工作、家庭的一系列壓力陡然增長，已全然不同青春期的學(xué)業(yè)壓力。因此，35-45歲，成為抑郁癥凸顯的一個階段。”陶然告訴記者。

According to 2014 China Sleep Quality Index published by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association （CMDA）， media staff ranks topmost at twelve occupations with high-frequency sleep disorder at a minimum score of 56.5. However， at previous days， data released by Beijing Health Maintenance Organization in 2008 shows that 97.5% of 23，640 media staff are tested sub-healthy during their health check， which concludes that media is an industry apt to subhealth with occurrence of high frequency.

由中國醫(yī)師協(xié)會發(fā)布的《2014中國睡眠指數(shù)》顯示，媒體人高居睡眠障礙高發(fā)職業(yè)的榜首，以56.5分位列十二類職業(yè)之首。而早前，2008年的北京市健康保障協(xié)會公布對了23，640位媒體工作者體檢數(shù)據(jù)，亞健康檢出率為97.5%，屬于亞健康高發(fā)行業(yè)。

Contents can be often seen in the reporter’s moments from some his media counterparts， such as I finally make it （draft）， the film cutting is finally finished， etc， which is put on the moments between 1 and 2 a.m. Staying up late for long has appeared to be a fixed label for such population. As is known to all， functioning to covering the latest happenings， news is extremely time-bound， which requires media staff to be always ready particularly for emergencies. “After all， we have news happenings， regardless of morning or evening， Monday or Sunday. Thus， we are pressurized like fully wound clockwork spring.” A stringer surnamed Zhao from a city daily complained in his Wechat.

It’s just due to timetable disorder caused by overwork and staying up late， large numbers of media staff features irregular and unbalanced meals. “It’s normal for us to have buffet with dire starvation and just return with round stomach to continue draft writing，” some media personnel self-jokes on their pre and post meals.

在記者的微信朋友圈中，常常可以看到媒體同行凌晨一、兩點發(fā)表“終于把稿子寫完了”、“片子可算剪完了”等內(nèi)容。長期熬夜已經(jīng)成為這個群體的一個固有標(biāo)簽。眾所周知，新聞作為新近發(fā)生的事實的報道，具有時效性，面對突發(fā)事件更需要媒體人令行則動，隨時待命。“畢竟新聞的發(fā)生是不分早晨或傍晚，周一或周日的。所以，每天都像上滿弦的發(fā)條一樣壓力山大。”來自某都市報的記者小趙就在自己的微信上時常吐槽。

也正因為加班熬夜等作息時間的紊亂，很多媒體人在飲食上也表現(xiàn)出饑一頓、飽一頓沒有規(guī)律的特征，“餓著扁肚子扶著墻去吃自助，撐著圓肚子回來繼續(xù)寫稿子。”有媒體同行更調(diào)侃著自己的餐前餐后狀態(tài)。

轉(zhuǎn)型中理想與現(xiàn)實的碰撞

At the same time， at a particular period from traditional media to a new one， working tempo of media people have already shifted from a periodical cycle of days to that of hours， minutes and seconds.

For Xu Xing， deputy edit in chief from Urban Express， new media projects are also in his scope in addition to paper media. Wang Dong， general executive editor with first finance magazine Fortune Money+ sharply points out， “Suicide of Xu Xing， reveals predicament of a good many media operators at current times. With traditional media going downward， media people have to increasingly work their hearts out for even more index figures； unfortunately， upward supporting resources are on the decline and practitioners with high spirit and vigor gradually get crushed by performance. Traders find stunningly unmatched their pains and gains. They could not become frustrated in the face of a high jump game deemed to fail， finding their inputs further away from the outputs.”

與此同時，面對傳統(tǒng)媒體向新媒體轉(zhuǎn)型的特定階段，媒體人工作的節(jié)奏早已從每日的周期向每時每分每秒的周期轉(zhuǎn)變。

在都市快報副總編徐行的身上，除了紙媒的任務(wù)外，還有新媒體項目的任務(wù)。第一財經(jīng)《好運money+》雜志執(zhí)行總編輯王東一針見血指出，“徐行自殺揭示了當(dāng)下很多媒體經(jīng)營者的逼仄。傳統(tǒng)媒體下行，愈發(fā)要為不斷上漲的指標(biāo)數(shù)字殫精竭慮。同時支撐上升的資源卻越來越少，從業(yè)者的意氣風(fēng)發(fā)逐漸被績效壓垮。操盤者所獲與其貢獻甚不匹配，面對一場終歸要失敗的跳高比賽，投入付出與想要得到的結(jié)果漸行漸遠(yuǎn)，變得唯一為數(shù)字而活，如何能不抑郁。”

Meanwhile， perfectionism tendency on the part of media people themselves looks like a tyrant who judges everything harshly with many absolute “shoulds”. Consequently， realistic acts of human are totally negated， leaving real self subject to suppression and compelling.

與此同時，來自媒體人個體自身的完美主義傾向又像一個“暴君”，用一個絕對化的“應(yīng)該”來苛求一切，結(jié)果使人的現(xiàn)實行為完全被否定，使真實自我受到壓制和強制。
