一、教材分析
《牛津小學英語》6 B Unit 5《The seasons》A部分,此部分通過對話模式的短文探討紐約的四季和氣候,內容編寫科學、合理并以情境交流為主線,巧妙地創設“蘇陽的爸爸將去紐約”這一情境,與現實生活緊密相連,激發了學生的學習興趣。在教學設計時我緊緊把握A板塊語篇整體教學的理念,從對話內容入手,先整體呈現學習語篇,并逐步分層引導學生學習課文中的語言知識,最后整體感知并拓展知識點。
二、教學過程
(1)Step1.Warming up.
①Free talk.
②Sing a song《Whats the weather like?》
(通過親切的問候,聽一聽,唱一唱,拉近了師生間的距離,創設了良好的英語學習氛圍,使學生盡快進入了學習的狀態)
(2)Step2.Presentation.巧設情境,引入新知。
①通過歌曲的歌詞過渡到Whats the weather like?這個重點句型的講解,并通過看、聽等多種形式呈現表示天氣的形容詞。
T:Its summer now.拓展Whats the weather like in summer?
Summer is one of the seasons.T:How many seasons are there in a year?What are they?
S:Four.呈現四季的圖片,并分別操練四季的天氣。而后創設天氣預報的情境,讓生在情境之中滲透Whats the weather like in Suzhou\Beijing…?Its…

②T:Whats the weather like in New York?I dont know.SuYangs dad doesnt know either.Su Yang is asking Ben some questions about the weather in New York for her dad.If youre Su Yang.What are your questions?
(教師給學生提供了一個自由發揮的平臺,讓學生展開想象的翅膀,充分發揮主觀能動性)
③Watch the cartoon and try to answer the questions.Do you want to know more about the weather in New York?Lets listen to the tape about the weather in spring,summer,autumn and repeat it.Then try to choose the right answers.
(讓生帶著問題閱讀,全班一起參與,互相協作,解決問題)
④T:What about winter there?Listen and repeat,then try to answer the questions.
T:Whats the weather like in winter?Which season does Ben like best?Why?
S:Its cold in winter. S:He likes…Because he can…T:Which season do you like best?Why?
(由文本過渡到生活實際,由師生對話過渡到生生操練,通過這樣一個任務型的活動,既達到訓練語言的目的,鍛煉了學生聽、說、讀的能力,又激發了學生的交際欲望)
⑤Read the text and fill in the blanks on page39.Describe the weather in New York.
(經過前面的學習,學生已經儲備了大量與天氣相關的信息,寫說作為鞏固的方法,是一個輸出的過程,可以檢測學生的學習效果)
(3)Step3.Consolidation.
How about the weather in our hometown?Discuss in pairs and fill in the form.
Which season in Dongtai do you like best?Why?
I like…best.Because I like…I see…I wear…I can…
Wonderful,can you write down the four seasons in Dongtai and the different things you do in each season.Think and write.
T:All of us like the fine weather.What can we do?I think we should…
Show a sentence“Love nature,love life.”
(運用所學的句型暢想心中的好天氣,聯想愛護地球、愛護環境,進行思想教育的升華)
(4)Step4. Homework.
①Listen and recite the text.
②Describe the weather in Dongtai.
(作業讓學生感受成功的喜悅,培養繼續學習英語的興趣)
(5)Step5. Enjoy a song for the Earth Day.
(讓學生在愉悅的情境中學習英語,讓師生心靈共鳴,激發學習英語的持久的興趣,促進課堂教學實效性的進一步提升)
