2013年度涉僑基金會工作會議在重慶召開

2013年12月27日，2013年度涉僑基金會工作會議在重慶市召開。國務院僑務辦公室國內司司長許玉明、副司長王萍，重慶市外事僑務辦公室副主任陳高山、楊大慶，以及來自13家涉僑基金會的代表出席了會議。

會上，許玉明向與會代表致歡迎辭，介紹了2013年國僑辦協助僑胞捐贈國內公益慈善事業，開展“僑愛工程”，以及積極履行工作職責，為僑胞、涉僑基金會服務的主要情況，深入分析了當前基金會的總體情況、基金會登記管理制度的改革方向，并對新形勢下基金會的發展提出了希望和建議。各參會代表分別介紹了2013年在國內開展公益慈善事業活動的基本情況，交流了2014年主要工作設想。

近年來，國僑辦每年召開涉僑基金會工作會議，為涉僑基金會搭建增進交流、促進合作的平臺，引導其發揮優勢、服務大局，支持公益慈善事業發展，取得了良好成效。據不完全統計，自直轄以來，重慶市僑務系統接受僑界愛心人士捐贈款物折合人民幣3億多元，為促進我市公益事業發展發揮了重要作用。在參加會議的13家基金會中，有3家與重慶保持長期合作聯系，在渝捐贈項目近100個，主要涉及鄉鎮學校、衛生院、村級道路建設和貧困大學生資助等。此次涉僑基金會年度工作會議在渝召開，必將進一步引導海外僑胞積極參與重慶市慈善事業，支持貧困地區教育、衛生和新農村建設。
