在教學過程中,我們會覺得語法教學很棘手,自覺教得再清楚仔細,簡明扼要,學生真正掌握得卻很少,在公開課上就盡量避開語法教學。那么怎樣講解英語語法既輕松有趣,又能使學生有效掌握及運用?以下是我結合平時的教學實際,得出的圖畫對比和游戲競賽法、形象的類比法、用“公式法”講解被動語態這三種語法教學方法:
一、圖畫對比法和游戲競賽法
(1)向學生一邊展示圖畫一邊用while來解說,如:
On a spring morning,the Smiths were having a picnic onahill.
Mrs.Smith was geting ready for the meal while Mr.Smithwas fishing.Andy was flying a kite while Amy was reading astory book.
While their grandparents were chaRing with each other,Eddie was sleeping.
(2)對于as的用法可以依樣畫葫蘆,如:
It is Tom's black day,on themoming,as Tom went intothe office,the phone rang.As he got the phone,the line broke.He wanted to sit down to started the computer as the electricitywas cut suddenly.
(3)當兩者進行合二為一時,如:
Yesterday is very strange,while I Was watching TV,it ra-ined(suddenly).So I thought I can write my diary about therain.But as the sun came out(suddenly),1 was writing it.So 1watched TV again,but it rained(suddenly)again while I waswatching TV.1went 0nto write my dairy,I Wa swriting as thesun Came out again.I thought I must be in a dream yesterday.
通過邊看圖畫邊解說以及對關鍵字詞標上記號,學生很快就能明白當一個動作在進行另一個動作也在進行時通常用while連接(應強調動作不分先后,while也可與狀態動詞連用)。當兩個短暫動作同時發生時,通常用as連接(應強調動作的同步性及短暫性)。當一個動作在進行的時候,突然發生另一個動作,while與進行的動作相連,而as則與突然的短暫動作相連(應強調用while與as不能同時使用)。只需進行適當的練習來鞏固加強,而無須多做其他不必要的解釋。如果給出一些詞語,對班上的學生進行分組,用while和as將所給詞語編輯小故事,看哪一組又快又精彩,然后給予一定的獎勵。這樣學生既能學到應學的語法知識,又能使知識得到應用,有趣又不會感到枯燥乏味。
二、形象類比法
對于初學者剛接觸句子結構時,不需要講得太過于死板,太過于復雜。最基礎的就是要清楚熟悉句子是如何按照一定的潛規則連接形成的。……
