Bed race in Thailand

Hundreds of people have come to take part in the Pattaya International Bed Race every year in Thailand.

People from all over the world line shoulder-to-shoulder for the race. Teams for the race are in pairs with both parties pushing a bed with beautiful things on it for two kilometres in the street， and the watchers loved it.

“How would I describe it？ Great and fun. Good fun but crazy. Never seen it before. Only in Thailand， yeah？”

The race is now in its seventh year and its not just for fun—organizers also say it helps bring different groups of people together.

“Well， as you know， Pattaya is a multicultural （多文化） city， and we have actually teams from every corner of the world—Russia， France， England， Scandinavia and of course Thailand！”

But instead of a good rest after the race， most players went to enjoy themselves in local bars （當地酒吧）.
