【摘要】:《詩經》是中國文化的精髓,翻譯《詩經》的方法也很多,有直譯、異譯,歸化、異化,形似、神似,化境等。本文通過分析譯作,探討中國古典文化翻譯的方法,加快中國文化走國門。

一.簡介
《詩經》是中國古典文化的典型代表,語言獨居一格、押韻有制、形式整齊劃一,翻譯起來,不僅考慮形式,還有意義、節(jié)奏,如《將仲子》:
將仲子兮,無逾我里,無折我樹杞。豈敢愛之?畏我父母。仲可懷也,父母之言亦可畏也。
將仲子兮,無逾我墻,無折我樹桑。豈敢愛之?畏我諸兄。仲可懷也,諸兄之言亦可畏也。
將仲子兮,無逾我園,無折我樹檀。豈敢愛之?畏人之多言。仲可懷也,人之多言亦可畏也。
原詩是一位女子的內心獨白式的情語。該詩最大的特點就是語言的委婉,絮絮道來,恰恰活脫脫出繪出了熱戀中少女既癡情、又擔憂情郎的情態(tài)。表現(xiàn)了在當時社會不準青年男女戀愛、私會的禮法的無形之網中的幾多無奈。題目“將仲子”的“將”意思為“請,求求你”,一“將”字溫婉的傳達了女子的幾多情意。第一章,女子熱戀中的男郎仲子欲翻入“我里”,但是千萬不要這樣,一句“豈敢愛之?”反問傳神地表達了女子擔心仲子誤會,但又無奈的情語。接下來解釋到,害怕父母責罵。第二、三兩章只是表面上是對首章的重復,其實卻是情意的層層遞進。從“無逾我里”,到“無逾我墻”、“無逾我園”,可看出仲子由遠及近,已不顧一切的靠近,與此同時女子的害怕?lián)囊灿伞拔肺腋改浮敝劣凇拔肺抑T兄”,最后“畏”到左鄰右舍的“人之多言”,擴散開來。“景中傳情”,“情中含情”的詩境也躍然紙上。
二.鑒賞英譯作

譯作在理解原詩的基礎上歸化,更加神形兼?zhèn)洌c原文形似,神似。譯文用詞精煉傳神,不拖泥帶水。詩味深濃。如譯文最后兩句 “to be loved, to be feared”與原詩最為“形似”,而且,用被動句可謂與原詩達到異曲同工之妙,英語中被動句不經常使用,常用無靈主語代替,但是在此使用,恰恰使女子的無奈之情躍然紙上,神似也。“Do I care for them?”用反問句,與原詩所傳之情相得益彰。“You, O Chung”,采用第二人稱,給人以親密感,更有神韻。當然,譯作題目中“將”直接音譯為“Ts?ang ”,欠妥當。加之,“hamlet”與“里”是不同的概念,筆者認為如此譯法不合適。
本詩,譯者加入了歸化的成分,如“Mr.Chung”等,但筆者認為要將中國文化推向全世界,更贊成于韋努蒂的解構翻譯,他說:“反對英美傳統(tǒng)的歸化,主張異化的翻譯,抵抗式的翻譯策略”。應該弘揚中國文化,將原汁原味的中國文化傳向全世界。
三.總結
詩歌的翻譯是仁者見仁智者見智,但是在譯古典詩歌是,盡量走向“形似”“神似”,“化境”的理想境界。
針對此詩,筆者也嘗試進行了翻譯,譯文如下:
